pickBook 2 for the year is the 2nd in the Waterford Saga. Things really start to ramp up. Having six protagonists should feel ridiculous, but overall Donnelly does a good job focusing on just a couple at a time, giving the story enough emotional investment to make it work. Looking forward to seeing how this one plays out.
pickThe book was really well written and very adventurous. Being able to connect with the characters and join them on their journey was so much fun! I definitely recommend.

pickJust as much fun as the first book! Wish we could have seen more of the other six but I liked the bit of world building we got. And that ending left me ready for more!!
pickAnother great instalment to the series. I loved the we got to see the mermaids as they each split off to look for their talismans, and especially that that meant reading from more than just Sera‘s point of view. Both of the main storylines were really captivating, and while I had doubts about the strength of Neela‘s at first, it really grew and improved as the plot continued. Another gorgeous cover for another beautifully told story.
pickI know it was Harry Potter‘s birthday but I was not ready for that type of shocking detail in my mermaid book! Not cool Disney! I loved the romance and and all the challenges the Merls faced. Can I just say shipwreck ghosts and dragon queens. I need to buy book three soon!
