Though I didn't like this one as much as Letters to the Lost, I still adored the story. However, Emma and her attitude....made me want to smack her seven ways to Sunday. She was annoying and bitchy. Not to mention self centered at times.
But then again, that's how some teens are. My heart broke for Rev throughout the book. Hes been through so much and I love how he finally broke free at the end. So I'm chalking this up to another great read!
Today I filmed a Try a Chapter video with these five options. I picked one as a definite TBR for February. I am not going to tell you which one yet, although you are welcome to guess. I will say that it was a tough decision!
Have you read any of these?
Thank you Brigid Kemmerer for writing characters I always seem to fall in love with. Thank you for writing adults who are trustworthy and loving, remaining steadfast through the most difficult situations. And thank you for bringing back Rev from Letters to the Lost to tell his own story and reminding us that you can emerge caring and loving even though you have endured the most horrific childhood.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didn‘t enjoy this one as much as I loved “Letters to the Lost”, but it still was a good read. I found Emma‘s character to be annoying several times throughout the story, but she had redeemable parts. Overall, a solid read!
🚨Be aware there are mentions and scenarios of abuse, domestic violence
This one is a keeper. I really liked Rev in Letters to the Lost, but now I flat out love him. Great dark YA romance that earns those tender moments. #LitsyAtoZ:K @BookishMarginalia #sleepydog
Read this all in one night, forgoing all social media posting & sleep — so make of that what you will! This book had excellent writing & excellent plotting, so I was turning the pages well into the wee hours, waiting to find out what happens next. I didn‘t find the characters as dynamic or endearing as I did in LttL, though certainly they were engaging. Still, this is a strong, wholesome follow up to Letters. Perfect for dark romance fans. ★★★★☆.
A great follow up to Letters the the Lost. This book follows a different character. The writing makes it feel so real. ♥️
First snow of the season yesterday and I had to work so I‘m having my “snow day” today!! ⛄️❄️☕️📚😻

This post has taken me weeks and weeks. Okay, more like days and days, but a really long time *whines*. Here are my thoughts on these six books, http://trishtalkstexts.wordpress.com/2018/05/15/new-release-reviews-april-to-may... #reviews #blogging #trishtalkstexts #australiancovers #youngadultlit
I loved this book. Both Emma and Rev were amazing characters, I was so invested in both of their stories. I loved how some characters made mistakes and then realized their mistakes and change. I laughed. I cried. I swooned a little. 😍😉
This quote. Growing up I was very specific about my biological father being “father” and my step-dad was “dad.” And this is pretty much why- I heard a saying once “any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad.” And that kinda stuck.
Love love love this book and its predecessor Letters to the Lost.

There are not enough words to describe how much I truly love Brigid Kemmerer's books and this one was even better than the last - as if that was possible! Brigid has strong characters that she truly makes you feel. Empathy isn't a strong enough word for the emotions that she invokes in you. Her themes are always deep, sometimes dark but also end with hope and a light for the future. Highly recommend!
And when I say 'maybe', I mean I haven't written them yet. I have one done, and I would like to review #turtlesallthewaydown, and one will go up for 'Any Way You Slice it', but I could review any number of the others. Roll on November. Hasn't the year gone fast? #octoberreads #stats
Today is the day I start this beauty! I absolutely love Brigid Kemmerer and have read every single one of her books. I have high hopes for this. Here's hoping it doesn't disappoint!
Beautiful spring day in Brisbane. This Brigid Kemmerer title doesn't come out till March or April, and I loved it. Rev is a terrifically developed character and his story balances nicely with the one for his love interest. I read an e copy, so I don't have a nice picture. #preview #yaliterature ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So I was struggling with this prompt until this book landed through the letterbox! I am a massive Brigid Kemmerer fan and I have been dying for this book. Let's just say this book has made my day and would definitely have been my morning glory if I was home when it arrived!
More Than We Can Tell by @brigidkemmerer was everything I had hoped it would be and more. It made my heart ache, it made me smile, and it almost made me cry. Rev & Emma's story was perfectly imperfect and I just loved spending time with all these characters. I hope one day BK returns to this world & tells Matt's story. He, like Rev in Letters to the Lost, captured my heart & I just want to give him a hug
Almost missed my train stop yesterday because I was so absorbed in @brigidkemmerer's More Than We Can Tell. Off to run some errands and then I plan on spending rest of day immersed in these words. 😍 #brigidkemmerer #bloomsbury #arc #amrrading #sogoodithurts #ya #youngadult #contemporary #ireadya #igreads #instabook #bookstagram #2018release #allthefeels
