That book was so so good but it had a little bit of things that I didn't quite like 😞 when I was reading this book I felt like was a part of it, swallowed through the pages. I loved the writing style and the world building tho I didn't like that we didn't get to see Darin at all after he was taken.

ZeinaHesham Like I wanted a bonus chapter of his pov at the end of the book, or maybe a spy knew something and reported it to Laia.... like I needed to know SOMETHING.I didn't like Laia at first I HATE weak heroines so much, I legit can't stand them. but I admire the force on which she continued with, the power to withhold the pain and continue not winning through the story. How she managed at the end to hold a dagger with her, yes she didn't really use it but I loved that she was somehow ready to. 4y

I am a fantasy addict rn though I do feel that by time I will be more into literature focused novels like more of Shakespeare novels and stuff like that. Anyone heard of that book before? I had that book for ages on my bookshelf, I think i got it as a gift from the bookstore for buying too much books from there. I thought I would give it a try earlier today, and imagine my surprise to discover this is the second book of a series. The writing style is not really all that hooking, it's kind of childish actually ?. Just thought I would ask if it's worth it to give the first book a try.

I was supposed to be reading Into the water with my book buddy and she turned out to be the absolute worse! UGH I kept ranting about the book and she just kept on sending short answeres and she wouldn't talk about any of her thoughts about the book UNLESS I ASKED. Sometimes I ask she leaves me on read. LIKE WHY? WHY DO YOU DO THIS? IF YOU DON'T WANT A BOOK BUDDY THEN WHY SIGN UP IN THE FIRST PLACE?? Okay I am good now. Oh and the book was bad btw

Naj @ZeinaHesham Yeah, it's written in Nastaliq. That's how I noticed the Arabic books on your bookshelf. But majority of the words are completely different so I can't really understand Arabic, can only mostly read it. 5y

Do they want me as a friend? Am I annoying? I never really had these before but in I believe 8th grade my friends left me for two years without explanination. They all turned on me, saying mean stuff and all that. Even though we knew each other from kindergarten all of us 5y

SW-T OMG! They bailed on you for two years? That was definitely them, not you. Understand why you feel the way you do now. Some things we forgive but don‘t forget and something like that would definitely have you questioning every interaction for clues because you never want to repeat such a bad experience. I‘m sorry they treated you that way and while I don‘t know you well, I think you‘re fine the way you are ☺️ 5y

Guys I just finished *the wicked king* and honestly many of the people who also finished it are all mad at Tyran, I mean idk I am mad at her of course but not as mad as I am with Carden!!! Though I tottaly could see that coming I was still so shocked that I was like " How dare you ???"
Anyone else read the book?
Would love to hear everybody else's opinions !

LoverofLit So mas at her sister! I think I was more mad at her sister because she acts so placid and innocent and twin sisters have an obligatory bond to put each other first but she betrays her. Whereas Cardan has always have grey moral ambiguity and has never hid that and Jude screwed him in ways in the past so it was kind of tit for tat. 5y

How did you guys find Restore me ?? Personally I didn't really enjoy it at all. I think i might give this book 2.5 stars. Why?

ZeinaHesham Well, let's start with the fact that Tahera's writing style changed dramatically than the first three books. I feel now that her writing style seems a bit childish. I don't like the characters as much as i once did before. Warner seems to be swallowing himself in self-pity, while i personally think that Juliette *cough* needs him to be strong for her, as she herself doesn't have a clue on what the hell she is doing. 5y

ZeinaHesham he might have helped her dodging many embarrassing situations if he was even a little bit concerned about her as he seems to be declaring .Juliette is acting so childish it's honestly very frustrating, how is she supposed to be a supreme commander like that ? The book was extremely boring, and what pushed me to go on with the book was purely out of my hand situation. i was kind of stuck for 4 hours without anything except for this book. 5y

ZeinaHesham Finally I started to like the book at it's mid-two hundreds. The ending though was a bit mind blowing and honestly didn't expect that. Like i felt so stupid for not connecting 2 and 2 together like as if clues were lying everywhere and i just ignored them. And just like that, though I didn't like book 4 I am excited to see what would happen in book 5 5y

julesG ACOTAR is the only one I read. Her other books might be good, though. So don't let my nearly bailing stop you. But keep in mind that it is okay to bail on a book. It's not failure, it's knowing your time is precious. 5y
