As a resource for middle school readers, this book is pretty alright. It covers a lot of killings and subsequent protests that have occured since the BLM movement started, and very briefly touches on the Civil Rights movement. It doesn't go too in-depth, especially on many society level issues. However, it's well organized and should be understandable to middle school readers.
