I did not enjoy this book. The writing was bland, and it was kind of confusing at times when the MC was hearing/projecting the voices in his head. I would not recommend this to anyone. 👎👎👎

This one was a #kindlefirst #amazonfirstreads pick sometime last year. Finally started in on it last night. After a crazy day at work where nothing went my way, I'm tempted to just call it a night (it's not even 7pm yet). I may try to get a few chapters in before nodding off. I'm just so wiped out and still fighting a cold with a horrible sinus headache. 😴😷🤧
Starting this next... inadvertently bailed on Queen of the Night by canceling Amazon Prime. I was reading that one on Prime reads. Oops. I'll have to finish that one up at the library. #blondemoment
Hey listen. I wanted to like this. I really did. And some twists and turns toward the end almost made the terrible journey worthwhile. Almost.
Holliday‘s attempts at female characterization are so abhorrent they can be used as an example of what NOT to do. The romance in this thriller is so forced, that alone almost caused this to be a DNF. The real sin is the world building. Which...doesn‘t actually exist at all. You can skip this one, trust me.
#currentlyreading I‘m over 50% done and so far? Not good.
Gripping. Patiently waiting for more!
Dark, and gruesome, and fascinating. Couldn't put it down, A very thought-provoking futuristic police procedural. Waiting for more.
