RIP 😢😢
One of my #newyearwhodis reads from @hes7 I always enjoy a man in a kilt book. That Garwood has written a very competent heroine and a relationship not based on silly misunderstandings is a bonus for sure. Full review at https://booknaround.blogspot.com/2021/01/review-secret-by-julie-garwood.html

A bit late on this, my apologies!
1. This is tough because I love romantic books. I am going with The Secret because it is my favorite reread.
2. Both, double the chocolate!
3. Don't have a real one, so fictional it is and I have to go with Roger from Rent at the moment. Addicted to the live version that was on few weeks ago, and I fell in love with Brennin Hunt's version on Roger.
4. Happy
5. Travis from The Choice by Nicholas Sparks

First book read for #NewYearWhoDis !! I really enjoyed the character growth and all the warm and happy feelings this book gave me. Thanks @AsYouWish for the recommendation!
Day 3 of #holidaygratitudechallenge I have a few authors that I am grateful for, but Julie Garwood is my queen!!!! She has been there for me when I was happy, when I was sad, when I have felt alone, when I needed an escape and when I needed to go 'home'. She has this way of writing that gives me that warm-safe feeling, and makes me want to go to these places and meet these characters and be a part of her worlds! I could go on and on about her.
Day 4 of #tarottakeover Today for The Fool, I pick The Secret by Julie Garwood. Judith is a brave but foolish character, she is an English woman traveling to Scotland with a group of soldiers sent to bring her to her pregnant friend. She never thought that the Laird would fall for her and want her to stay in Scotland or that maybe she should reveal the secret of her past. What a Fool!

Day 3 of #agameoffavorites This is Julie Garwood, she is my favorite romance author. In my research I found that as a child she could not read, this was not discovered until she was 11. A nun, taught her how to read using dictionaries, short stories, classics, Nancy Drew & the author O. Henry. I love her historical romances, tagged book. I also love her contemporary romances, my favorite so far is Slow Burn.

Listened to this all day while totally rearranging my bedroom and cleaning in all the nooks and crannies. Absolutely loved these characters and haven't laughed so much in a long time. Romantic, funny, and narrated well! My only beef with the story was that the heroine was in tears every other scene. A bit old school, but she still showed her strength and intelligence! ❤ #romantsy #historicalromance
I read this years ago. Loved the friendship between Francis Catherine and Judith. When Audible had it on sale awhile back, I thought would be fun to revisit. BIG MISTAKE! I've never heard such horrible 😨 Scottish accents.
Well my Amazon order has been delayed and the books won't be here till tomorrow so time for a back up book. On to the next Garwood! #osrbc #romantsy
I know what I'm doing tonight! Has anyone else watched this series?
A completely charming read! Judith is the perfect spunky funny heroine, and Iain is the perfect gruff highlander poleaxed by her from the first. The perfect historical romance. 💗
I read a few Julie Garwood books years ago and remember loving them, so I'm revisiting her. 😊💕
