Really tired the last few days; the radiation is starting to really affect me. All I can do these days is just watch TV and play games on my laptop; reading just takes too much effort at the moment. #cancersucks

melissajayne @RaeLovesToRead it‘s to be expected to be tired for a bit after radiation treatments, as this is when the treatments are actually starting it‘s most important work. I will just have to pace myself a little bit more and rest as often as I can. I also had a couple of weeks that were busy with family. 2y

ravenlee I wish you rest and recovery. My mom‘s last bout of radiation treatments really left her exhausted and sore for months. I hope you find some equilibrium. 💓 2y

melissajayne @ravenlee the nurse said to my mom that the next two weeks that the exhaustion will hit really hard and that it should start to get better the next four weeks after that. 2y

It is now about 6:45 pm Pacific and I have been up since 4:30 am after going to bed at around 12:45 am. I went to my women‘s bible study this morning at church (limited for in-person). Spent about 2 hrs in my car doing library stuff this afternoon. And I‘m tired of being asked if I have symptoms of COVID. So what if I have a slight sore throat. It‘s not any worse than it was a week ago.

melissajayne I‘ve had 4 cases of strep since January 2014, with my last case basically knocking me out for 2 weeks. My mom had a probable case of COVID-19 back in March and if my sore throat hasn‘t worsened, I‘m going to be out and about. 4y

I bid you all a goodnight. Soooo tired. It is midnight here and I manage to read for 15 hours. I‘m hoping I can finish strong tomorrow and get my first ever 24 hours. I‘m now 30% done with my third book: Wintersong.

The_Heeler_Booklife @akckitty I always get close to 24 hours, but never make it. I am strong on Saturday‘s, but on Sunday idk why I get less hours. 😂 Fingers crosses though that I can get to 24 hours and can finish with a total of 4 finished books. (edited) 5y
