pickTook me a little longer to finish, but this book was so good! Magic, politics, intrigue, forbidden love. Definitely a 5⭐️ read.
Still working on Blood Song while battling a reading slump. So I decided to organize my bookshelves and add two more of them. Took most of the day to build them and then stick them. But I am loving the way my room is turning out!
Summer TBR because I have a hard time doing a monthly TBR. I‘m a mood reader for sure.

pickBloody amazing! Pun intended. I have fallen in love with the brilliant story-telling ability of the writer. The way he captures your attention, the way he makes you lost in the deeply and well-thought through world... I cannot express how much I enjoyed Vaelin's coming of age story and cannot wait to see how it continues. The battle scenes are epic, the friendships strong and the deaths heart-breaking. It couldn't get any better!

This is from book one in the Raven's Shadow trilogy by Anthony Ryan. It feels like Game of Thrones, but it moves faster, has more outward magic, and has the incredible benefit of being complete and published. I love these books! #mapsinbooks #somethingforsept

pickSo I'm a bit late reviewing this but here goes;
The story centres around a young boy named Vaelin who is left at the walls of the Sixth Order before he hits puberty. He is taught to fight and how to survive, building as he goes companionships with his fellow brothers.
I loved it. Never a dull moment, this book made me laugh, cry and had me at the edge of my seat.
Highly Recommended!
pickAbsolutely loved this book, from the first to the last. An amazing epic adventure and a great hero. So many times when I was reading, a line would stop me and I'd just have to breathe it in.
"That is not your name." That line just gave me chills. This book is amazing.
It's been a while since I read high fantasy and I'm loving it! Takes me back to my teen years before I tried to expand my reading habits! The prologue had me hooked. Only about 100 pages in thus far....
pickI love when a book gives you characters to both love and hate, choices you understand why they chose it but wish they hadn't, and an ending you had no idea what was coming. Thanks, Anthony Ryan.
