pickJust finished my #LMPBC book for #GroupW and #Round9. I made it very colorful for my fellow detectives. My daughter decided she needed to make “notes” too. You‘ll know when you see it. I enjoyed this title it had me guessing and wondering why when I figured out a who. I liked the characters, but was annoyed by them at times. I hope you all enjoy it also. 😊

Well, I didn‘t do well on my June TBR... so going to finish them along with my book club books shown here.
bailedWhen a book sends you into a reading funk, it‘s time to let it go. The writing felt clunky, with dialogue that felt forced/false. I also did not connect to the telepathic bunny. I‘ve read books written from the dog‘s perspective that felt like how I imagined dogs to think. Bun had the same stodgy thought patterns as the rest of the characters. I don‘t care enough about the mystery to finish. At least I didn‘t buy it. Yay Hoopla!🤷🏻♀️
@howjessreads is back posting punny book titles on Instagram (one of my favorite things), so it is entirely her fault that I just downloaded this title from Hoopla, even though I have other things I should be reading. 🤦🏻♀️

Library haul! New X-Force, Jo Walton‘s latest, this week‘s poetry collection, a YA romance that allllllllmost expired on me, and the tagged mystery, which I requested after @BookishTrish posted about it (and didn‘t expect to see so soon). Please note one of the characters is a TELEPATHIC RABBIT. I‘m always here for ginormous telepathic animals and I look forward to seeing if I feel the same about tiny telepathic animals.
pickThis #cozymystery featuring a telepathic rabbit named Bun was a) right up my street and b) the least weird book about bunnies I read this week. More in the next post.
The characters are very appealing and the setting is superb.
