pickI continue to adore Kristoff's writing style. It's engaging & humorous & fits the world-building really well. There is a LOT of movement & action in this book as well as a lot of world-building. The action sequences are really well-written & the description quite vibrant. I'm really enjoying the character development & saw great value in some added characters. The book ended on a pretty good cliffhanger, so I'm excited to see where it goes now.

This installment focuses more on Cricket and Lemon Fresh and Ezekiel- but also introduces some new characters along with the familiar faces. Post 1/2. I really tried to get it down to #19of2019. But I couldn't choose between these 24. All such different books and worlds that I lost myself in.

I am extremely disappointed with book two in this series. The magic of book one just isn't present in this one. Honestly I was that bored and the characters I loved in the last book I just couldn't care about this time around. Found it every hard to finish but I made myself as I needed to know what happens but I did end up just skim reading the last half of the book. #itsanofromme

Finished this the other day & love it! Its been such a thrill (like riding an emotional roller coaster!) reading this action packed sequel to #LIFELIKE
This time it focuses mainly on the character LemonFresh with few new characters & if you Love the Xmen/MadMax vibe last time, you'd definitely love this one. As usual, #JayKristoff tends to feed his dark soul off his readers tears! 😆 So...Be prepared! 5/5

pickThis sequel to Lifel1k3 focusing on Lemon Fresh gave me major Mad Max: Fury Road vibes which I loved. After separating from Evie at the end of book one Ezekiel, Lemon, and Cricket set out across the Glass, but are soon separated. They all find themselves tied up in the Brotherhood affairs in New Bethlehem in strange and unexpected (and dangerous) ways. (Cont. in comments...)

Spending time with Jay Kristoff (and a coffee as big as my head—YAY) this morning.
They MOVED THIS. It was supposed to come out at the end of April. But now it‘s out another month. I need this book. Lifelik3 was not enough.
This has been happening with quite a few books as the closure of printing houses has caused backlogs so books have not been getting printed in time for anticipated drop dates.
