A Cup of Holiday Fear | 
pickThis was my very first cozy mystery, and it was fun! A nice switch up from the holiday rom-coms, while still keeping me in the holiday spirit. The whodunnit aspect was a bit abrupt as it didn‘t have a lot of lead up, but it fit into the story. I‘d definitely try another cozy mystery in the future.
Tagged book happens to be set in Ashland, OR where I am currently visiting!
Continuing with my cozies- I‘m starting the next Bakeshop Mystery on my list. As an incentive to get through these, I have a galley of the new one that releases the end of December! (Also Cletus says hi to his Litsy family!)
so-soThis is one of those times where I wish there was a button between “So-So“ and “Pick“. This was a cute book, but I am not huge on holiday-type books (unless the holiday is Halloween). I did enjoy it though.

pickI‘ve never read this series but in times of stress I gravitate to Christmas lol. This was a lovely book, I enjoyed the setting and the baking. While the killer was a little surprising the overall mystery itself did not feel as intense and urgent as other cozies. A nice light read. I‘d say fluffy but many think that‘s a negative thing- though I don‘t ;)
Wes is with my parents so I can work on packing, which means I get to stay up “late” and read with some hot cocoa! (Because of course it snowed in WI today 😂)

pickWhat I love most about this series is the way I get as wrapped up in the daily life of the characters as I do in the mystery.
