Stand out was definitely Remote Sympathy but Unsinkable Greta & The Change were both enjoyable, especially on audio. I was disappointed with the Sedaris and Ozeki just wasn‘t my jam. I‘m slowly taking my time with Braiding Sweetgrass.

The last week of #MiddleGradeMarchThroughTime was a good one. I read 4 middle grade books, they were all four stars. The #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead The Blue Castle was excellent, except for one part toward the end. I knocked off a Star, so four stars for that one also. @megnews @BarbaraJean #BookReport @Cinfhen

Mostly #MoreMehThanYeah 🤨If I had to choose one, it would be Hour of the Witch 🧙‍♀️ but all 5 books were 3 star reads.
February has yet to produce a five star read…I don‘t think I had a four star either but we still have 9 days to go.
In Olympic news my niece didn‘t have the cleanest program today but she kept her butt off the ice and can proudly call herself an Olympian 🙌🏻 In less than 8 months she went from no ice to Olympic ice 🤩

Cinfhen Ughhhhh @TrishB COVID bites SO BAD!!! One team had to withdraw YESTERDAY, day of competition (after being there for 2 + weeks ) because they tested positive for Covid & another team who was recovering from Covid completely fell apart due to exhaustion & lack of training the last week. It was so sad to watch. It was a weird Olympic experience and I can‘t wait to hear all the stories @merelybookish Apparently Hailey played ping pong with 👇🏽 2y

Another good reading week here. Two really good queer graphic novels: Heartstopper 3 and I‘m a Wild Seed. Finished my reread of an old fantasy chunkster: The Ghatti‘s Tale. And a backlist Picoult that‘s been on my TBR for years- Vanishing Acts. I still needs to post my review for that one.

Almost exactly as planned - I read Moab is my Washpot (loved) a couple of graphic novels (so enjoyable) and started Tracks which is amazing AND it hurts my heart 💔 Unexpectedly I made a big dent in Proust and I‘m over 80% now and really enjoying it. 😍 Lots of good reading this week and wish that for all of Litsy!

I had a busy week!!
Finished lots of books & knocked off lots of challenge prompts thanks to audiobooks 🎧🖤My favorite of the week was actually a physical book and that was Me by Sir Elton John 🙌🏻
My dud of the week was a book I had been looking forward to,but it just didn‘t come together for me;Susan Faludi‘s memoir
And Dopesick was 5 stars for content but the audio was not that good. Narrator/author had a grating twang 😝

Cinfhen I‘d say it took a bit of time with the audiobooks @Nute but the right narrator can really enhance the book and change your entire experience. I love the voices of Dion Graham and Bahni Turpin 🙌🏻There are some others also who are pretty amazing 4y

KarenUK If you ever get a chance to see the 1976 movie version, it‘s one of my guilty pleasures, and has the most amazing all star cast! Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, Mia Farrow, David Niven, Peter Ustinov, Angela Lansbury! It‘s so much fun! 4y

It‘s #bookreport time. Been a slow week for personal reading because of a shake up at work the necessitated working from home several evenings this week, plus the weather is triggering migraines galore. I‘ve gotten no reading done today and it‘s already after 4 pm. *sigh* Anyway, I finished the two audiobooks on the top row and made progress in the three books below. Not a stellar week. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I doubt I‘ll finish or start anything today, so I‘m going to do my #bookreport early. This was a week of bails. Both non-fiction ARCs bored me, but I was in a mood this week and I‘ve been migraine-y and emotional, so it‘s probably more me than either book and Cilka‘s Journey was all me. I finally started Ausma‘s book and am enjoying it, and got four audiobooks done for #MountTBR. So, overall a mixed bag of a week. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sace @Cinfhen I remember having to adjust to the structure as well. I'm glad I read a physical copy so I could easily go back and forth and flip through when I needed too. 4y
