Confession: I don‘t like Christmas. Too much pressure, and this year has been so tough with kiddo‘s illness and surgeries, I‘m struggling and just want it all over. Maybe I worked in retail too many Christmases! But what does make me happy this time of year is getting to be a working musician. So, here is my “office” from a recent concert. 1. I make my delicious lasagna! Sometimes I'm with people, but just Frankie and I this year.

Dough for pecan sticky buns is rising by the fireplace (unconventional, but works. Lol), movie on, and counting down the hours until I can sit back and open my #jolabokaflodswap package. For now there is even some snow on the ground to make it feel festive. Not looking forward to the rain later washing it all away though.
