After concluding his decisions have gotten him nowhere, Josh decides to flip a coin for a year rather than trusting himself. Funny and sweet.

I got some.book mail! Very excited to dive into these books. Book mail is the best mail.
Currently Read The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead. It is excellent. Horrifying. But excellent.

Josh's proposal was rejected by his girlfriend, he lost his job and his apartment. He's so fed up with all his wrong decisions, and he decided to flip a coin for every decision he made in a year.
Reading The Flip Side is hilarious, and I literally gritting my teeth over each disastrous decisions made by the coin. A cute rom-com and a light read, a very enjoyable read for me.

How cute was this book?? I loved it! First off, I was way into a romcom from the guy's POV!! I think we've all suffered from decision-making paralysis, feeling overwhelmed by the hundreds of choices we make every day. When Josh ends up single, jobless, & back in his parents' house, he decides he would just as soon leave his choices to date & starts flipping a coin to make every decision. Overall this book was fun & fluffy. It had some pacing ⬇️
#BookReport - Made good progress this week. Enjoyed the Broken Earth trilogy, but it was also pretty down so I wasn't exactly sorry to see it end, either lol Devil's Cub was delightful Heyer frivolity, Active Defense was an engaging thriller, & I'm about halfway through The Flip Side, my first read for #NewYearWhoDis & it's so fun!
If I want to hit my page goal for #AnyWayYouReadathon, I need to finish The Flip Side, Brazil, & Ways to Disappear ⬇
About 30% into this, seriously this coin-flipping business for every single decision for a year is getting disastrous!!! ??
"If Russian roulette is dangerous, tossing a coin to decide who to match with on Tinder is deadly. I‘m only one flip of the coin away from being tied up in someone‘s basement and used as a sex slave."
Today's library holds are already for 2021 challenges!! A Brazil travel guide for #FoodandLit, the tagged book for #NewYearWhoDis, and a series by January's #AuthoraMonth that has been on my TBR forever. I've got my bujo all set up and am getting excited!!!
