Thank God for the audiobook, if not I would never finish it. It had a very engaging prologue and then it all died out as the chapter went on and on. 90% of the book, the survivor of the battle just wander around finding people for their journey. Lastly, the characters are boring, the plot is flat, the actions almost non existent except the beginning and the end. So far from my expectation 😞😞
A character driven story with strong world building. The Queen of Blood has it all, plot-wise it's very interesting seeing Daleina struggles with her studies and controlling spirits. Despite being not the best, if possible the very bottom candidate for being Queen she thrives with her creative thinking and good instinct. Very enjoyable and satifying seeing her grow throughout the book.
A must read 💓💓

Finishing 2 books
Get a bingo for #bookspinbingo
Finished my 5th book this month. Super love it!
I'm 34 and I could say Tamora's writing is on another level. I enjoyed reading Becca's story and her new love interest. I have to confess something, after 400 pages in I decided to take a peak right through the end just to know whether I should be invested in Becca' newest beau. I just have to say, Dale is the perfect gentleman, and I love reading a different side of Becca's.

Such an underrated fantasy series 🙈🙈
Brilliant continuation from The Black Witch. I really love how the author relays the real-world-problem in her fantasy world. The characters are a lot and growing and very complex. I can't help falling hard for Elloren, she's powerless yet she has a very strong conviction. I really hope the 3rd book will be better🤞
I dislike this book, I rated it 2.5 ⭐
What's to love about this book except the beautiful cover, none.
What's to hate? Almost everything, the plot, the world, the magical beings, the romance, the characters, and THAT ending. I just hate it all, I wish I just let it sit beautifully on my shelf and never read it. Now i'm thorn with giving it away or just selling it for good.
Getting a little bit of reading while the little one asleep 🙊🙊
A different take on time travelling, there are monsters living among us. They take humans time by touching the base of their necks to travel through time.
I dislike the main character at first, she is whinny and over the top. Fortunately I keep on reading and the story picks up pretty fast after several chapters, and oh my totally unexpected.
This is not like your regular YA book, and it is a good beginning for a series.
3.9 ⭐
The longest series I have read so far, 52 books so far and still got the vibe. Loving the characters and the shadow from Roarke's past. Love love love ❤️❤️
4.1 ⭐
I have to say this book paints a pretty picture of death. A better life after death, the door that doesn't discriminate anyone, a second chance at being a better being.
A lot of reflective speeches between character, although I have to say that there's quite inactivity between chapters it certainly pays off in the end.
An emotional roller coaster. A pick for me. 3.9 ⭐
You're not alive, Wallace. But you still exist. I don't think you realized that until today.
This quote resonates deep within me.
Everything ties up nicely.
Found family 🚀
Not too romancey🚀
Plot Twist🚀
Characters dynamic🚀
I finished reading Verity 2 days ago, and I can honestly say that this is one of the books that stays with you. It grips me from the first chapter and I literally read it in one sitting. I especially love Verity, her chapters are golden and terrifying in a cringe way.
For me the ending is so unnecessary, I even googgled the general responses from other people after finishing this book 😅😅
Overall, a 4 ⭐ read for me
3.9 ⭐
A definite pick!!
Lots of actions ✨
Great character development ✨
Unique magic system ✨
Unexpected plot twist ✨
The last part of the journey, I really feel this book is underrated, and I kind of regret not reading this sooner 😭😭
Loving it so far, so many actions from the first page 🙊🙊
3.9 ⭐
A crazy conclusion if I may, from this series I learn that the true hero is seldom known or celebrated or having a happy ending.
The history is written by victors.
Reading books could lead to conquering the world.
A sense of justice and rightness mostly drives people out of their comfort zone, and ultimately make them do great things.

So much better than book one! The depth, the plot, the character are so developed here. So so good, Wheeler's becoming my must buy author.

I'm not a candle person, I only got light candle at home.
My current read (tagged book) has a disability character, a king born with crooked back and a half hand.

A bit late to join the party, but here's my December bingo board. I've always had problems picking up titles and sticking to it, so last month I've decided to just follow alphabetical orders for choosing book titles. Worked like magic, so here's a repeat month for alphabetical book titles 🥳🥳

It's been ages since I read anything by Scalzi's. Reading KJS is like curling up inside a warm blanket during storm rain, it's cozy and perfect for anyone searching for something easy scifi, with detailed world building but not complicated, lovable characters, and a plot twist here and there.
4.1 ⭐ for me

Legitimately falling in love with Prince Kiem, he's so POSITIVE and non assuming in a very good way.

It's a definite comfort read for me, it's fun reading both sides of story. Tiffy is chaotic and cheerful, Leon is stiff, introvert yet caring.
My first read for August #bookspinbingo is my #doublespin book *yeay*
@TheAromaofBooks
I'm a sucker for love notes, not exactly "love" notes but these are really sweet. Can't help smiling while reading them, and the change of Leon's tone!! Really appreciated ???
So much better than the monologues in his early POVs
I've got Zero Repeat Forever as my #bookspin and Flatshare for my #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
This month I'll focus in cutting down my physical TBR pile 😜😜
Currently reading, about 53% of the book.
Too much historic talks. It's slow and I'm getting sleepy 😴😴
Trying to read through my booklist for #bookspinbingo but I just can't do it, so I pick up another book not on the list. I love the font 😍😍
And that first page just killed it 👹👹
This is my #bookspinbingo board for July. I got Kaikeyi and Counterfeit as my #bookspin and #doublespin. Still thinking what book I should read
