Such a fun read!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Hunt the Stars” is an action-packed sci-fi that delivers the theme of found-family very well and is one that I enjoyed. Octavia was badass and I ultimately enjoyed all of the characters and their development throughout.

Hello Jessie Mihalik! Love discovering a new author and series that totally sucks me in. The world building and character development is amazing. I like how they can argue but still have mature conversations. Only downside is the how the story travels at warp speed, and I didn‘t want it to end! Looking forward to book two. The worst part of an engrossing series is the wait time on Libby! #spaceopera
I really loved this book! Tavi‘s crew gets hired to catch a thief and recover what they stole. She gets hired by people they were at war with for 10 years but are currently at peace with.
They head across space to the enemy territory and her crew gets to know and become friendly with their “enemies”.
This is a sci-fi romance. It‘s a bit steamy and I loved it.

Really enjoyed this one! My first time reading Mihalik, and if my library had any others on Libby, I'd prob already be reading them. I'll keep an eye out.
Danny won‘t let me take a pic of the book.
Mihalik‘s books are such good reads. I have loved all her previous stuff, and now am eagerly awaiting the next installment. As kiddo said, I devoured this (in about 26 hours!). International intrigue, romantic tension, enemies (literal) to lovers…and the most adorable animal companion ever. Loved everything about it.
My reading companion, as he just woke up and looked at me as if I put him in this weird position.

If you're looking for great space opera romances, Jessie Mihalik is for you! Hunt the Stars is the start of a new series, with a great cast of characters along with political intrigue. I greatly enjoyed this one and can't wait to read the sequel! 5❤️
It‘s heeeeeere! I‘ve been stalking the mailbox and it finally arrived (ok, exactly when they said it would, but it felt like forever). Now to find time to read it…
Oops, I was gonna save this to read on the weekend, but well, instead I decided to scarf it up. Intergalactic intrigue and a space floof were apparently what I needed right now.
This book has it all- adventure, romance, found family, a mildly telepathic cat , I could not have asked for more (unless the book came with said mildly telepathic cat). I had such a good time reading this Jessie Mihalik has more than earned a place on my list of auto-buy authors. I cannot wait to see what future books in the series have in store for these characters and look forward to getting to know the rest of the crew even better. Out 2/1/22
So. Much. Fun. Really. I‘m talking “I don‘t know what I‘m going to read next because whatever it is will necessarily suffer in comparison” fun. This is the kind of book that leaves you wanting to reread it because you are so entertained & want to know what happens next but have a really long wait to find out because the first book isn‘t even out yet! 😂😭😭😭😂 Enemies working together, high stakes, secrets, sass, space & more. On sale 2/22.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I was impressed. A great plot and the characters were just awesome. There was a lot of tension in the story and between the characters that it keeps your interest and I stayed up way too late to see how it all turned out. The only negative is I have to wait for the next book! Sigh.. 4.5⭐
I just finished an ARC of Mihalik's start to her new science fiction romance series. I loved it. Tavi and her team are hired by Torran to find something that was stolen from him. Great worldbuilding and I loved the found family aspects. Lovely characters, though this book is from the viewpoint of only Tavi and I wish we had had Torran's too. My only complaint. Out 2/1/2022.
