It‘s cute, wholesome, & reads like YA.. until BAM💥
random #smut scenes everywhere?!
the adult language sounded like teenagers trying to be edgy, not a group of adults who hit the bars.
I wanted cozy chaos & got tonal whiplash.
Would anyone recommend the rest of the series or was this a sign to turn back before I get hexed again?😬

While not my favorite Poirot, this one does involve Mrs. Oliver (although not nearly enough of her haha). I still haven't decided whether or not the ending is a bit of a cheat. Soft pick.

Like many of the other buddy readers, I found this one to be one of the weaker entries of the series so far. The plot felt jumbled and unrealistic (more so than usual haha) and the whole “jealousy“ side line definitely felt like padding. Definitely not my favorite.

I'd read both the 1935 and 1972 versions of this book for #NancyDrewBR. The two stories were completely different, the first set in the Canadian North and the second at an archeological dig in Ohio. I much preferred the 1935 version, which had more action and a somewhat more plausible storyline.

I met all my goals for #cozyreads and #bodydoublemarathon! I got my house cleaned while listening to audiobooks and also,spent some time reading cozies while being cozy, so thank you to @PuddleJumper and @Bookwormjillk for hosting. 😊

Enjoyable cozy about a group of friends who run a detective agency. One of them is getting married and during her hen party, she literally trips over a dead body on the dancefloor. Of course, they start investigating to solve the murder before the wedding.
