I‘ve never read this book before and picked it up because it‘s this month‘s #swordandlaserpodcast pick. I haven‘t been reading a lot of sci-fi lately, but this was like cozy sci-fi and not too hardcore for me to understand. I‘m glad I picked it up!
I‘ve never read this book before and picked it up because it‘s this month‘s #swordandlaserpodcast pick. I haven‘t been reading a lot of sci-fi lately, but this was like cozy sci-fi and not too hardcore for me to understand. I‘m glad I picked it up!
Picked this one up because it was the March pick for #swordandlaserpodcast - I‘m not sure if audio was the best way to read this. I kept confusing who everyone was. There was also a lot of death and killing. It is a war book. Also, is it a love triangle if all 3 want to be together?
Picked this book up because it was the December pick for #swordandlaserpodcast. I had never heard of this book before. It was pretty good. A retired group of guys get back together to save their band mates daughter. There is a lot of action, fighting and exploring and traveling to different parts of this world. Overall, I enjoyed this book.
This was a low pick for me. It‘s a sci-fi Sherlockian novella. I read it at the beginning of November for #swordandlaserpodcast
It was a quick read and the mystery was interesting. I‘m just not always a fan of sci-fi or novellas.
I wanted to like this more than I actually did. Towards the end, I just wanted it to be over. I had trouble connecting with the story. The writing style was different than I‘m used to. I have lots of thoughts. Lucy‘s character annoyed me. I also am not a huge music person and there was obviously A LOT.

I‘m looking forward to the #swordandlaserpodcast discussion on this one because I‘m not exactly sure what happened. I‘m not sure what I was expecting, but not what happened. You obviously can‘t say about this book or it‘ll ruin the journey. I read and had no idea what was going on the whole time.
#Booked2021 - musical instrument on cover
#BookSpin - for May (a #BOTM book)
It was so great to have a longer Murderbot book! This was so good! Not too much I can say. Thanks to @rachelsbrittain for giving me the push to catch up with this series! I would probably still be on book 3 without your #NewYearWhoDis list!
This is also the #SwordandLaserPodcast book this month
Book 3 finished for #NutsinMay
Here are my goals for #NovelNovember
Finish Hench (started today) for #TheCoolestBookClubEver
Finish either Winter Counts (so incredibly violent) or The Space Between Worlds for #BOTM debut category
Start the Downstairs girl either in print or audio and start Howl‘s Moving Castle for #SwordandLaserPodcast
Putting together a small #AprilTBR - Not sure what I‘ll actually be in the mood to read but I do want to read all these books. Luckily I own all but 1, so I do have to wait for an audio hold to come in.
The tagged is for #AgathaChristieClubR2, 3 are #BOTM, and 1 is for #swordandlaserpodcast
This is between a pick and a so-so. It was a little on the long side and everyone‘s journey seemed to drag a bit, but I felt like Moon had to go on such a journey to learn her purpose and so we could see different parts of the world. It was definitely an interesting read and now I have to go read the Hans Christian Anderson tale.
