Another book I couldn't resist. I love the Netflix series. Almost done with season 2. And I'm excited to read the books.

Finished the first 2 Hilda books while there because they were due back. It was a delightful read! Just what I needed today.

pickThis was such an adorable children‘s graphic novel. Hilda is a sweet girl who is out to befriend every magical creature you could possibly think of. The is is the first volume, the story is pretty short but that‘s all right, the art is cute and the coloring really helps set the moods for panels. If you watched the Netflix show and loved it, I‘d hope you‘d love the books too. The show filled the story out more but didn‘t stray to far.

I watched 'Hilda' on Netflix before reading it, and it is kinda weird but so adorable!
pickMy daughter and I watched the Hilda series on Netflix and loved it. Now we‘re reading the graphic novels the series is based on, and we‘re loving them, also.
pickRead this in around 15 minutes. Then read it again. Then my daughter read it despite saying that she doesn‘t get graphic novels. She laughed throughout. Hilda is awesome. Discovering new heroines is awesome. I can‘t wait to read more of Hilda‘s adventures.
Such is the life of a reader.
Has anyone read these Hilda graphic novels? Netflix has made a series based of of it and its absolutely ADORABLE! I really want to get these for the school library for my kiddos! Any thoughts from those who have read them?

I love the Hilda graphic novel series so much I had to splurge and buy me a Hilda figure - she‘s like 12 inches tall! I love her! Too bad her sidekick Twig isn‘t in the box too 💕

And the art makes me SO happy. So fun! I may rip through the whole series today if no one stops me...

She took almost a month to arrive since she traveled all the way from England, but it was well worth the wait! I fell in love with Luke Pearson's "Hilda" series and decided that I needed the vinyl doll as a personal mascot. The next step is looking for a cosplay opportunity! I can't wait to dig into my galley of the upcoming fifth book, "Hilda and the Stone Forest", and I'm cautiously optimistic about the announced Netflix animated series.
