Entertaining reads this week.
#bookreport #weeklyforecast
Currently Reading: Feeling like I have been spinning my wheels lately; really would just like a day when I can read for the day instead doing life stuff.
Recently Finished: only finished the one book this past week. I really liked it and will post a review fairly soon.
#BookRepprt #WeeklyForecast
Finished the Britney memoir today, and have made headway with the rest this week. Next week‘s plan is continue with the 5 unfinished books!
#bookreport
Current read is I Will Ruin You, enjoyable thriller so far.
Loved all my other reads this week.
#bookreport
Currently Reading: Have been mainly reading Homecoming for an upcoming #bookclub meeting; been picking away at ‘67 and started Good Dirt; DQ & Billy are on the back burner for a bit
Recently finished: Really enjoyed all three of these books; all very good books and I enjoyed reading them all.
#BookReport
Finished all of these this week, mostly ahead of schedule!
I didn‘t take to Eurotrash at all, but enjoyed the others for various different reasons.
#bookreport
So it looks like I‘m on a crime run, brain too tired after work this week!
Model Home was just a so- so for me, I struggled with the style of writing maybe it was the tired brain!
#bookreport #weeklyreport
Finished: really didn‘t like The Golden Spruce and how the author took way too long to set up the story, but I really liked the stuff about the person who allegedly chopped this specific tree down. Enjoyed High Society and The Sky is Falling much more; reviews are forthcoming.

Loved The Dark Mirror ❤️
The Other Tenant was an ok thriller.
Penitence was good- lots of unresolved questions at the end, so if you like all things tied up, probably not for you.
Currently reading the new Karen Rose.
#weeklyreport #bookreport
Finished: Took most of the week to complete Book of Negroes and completed Dinosaurs Before Dark in one sitting.
Currently Reading: started Homecoming and The Golden Spruce on Saturday; am hoping that The Golden Spruce will be done early this coming week. Will be posting more reviews this coming week. Happy reading!!
I miss doing a #BookReport and miss @Cinfhen leading the way.
Colored Television was good on audio. I said “Oh, Jane!” numerous times. I‘m glad I stuck it out.
The Lost Passenger was enjoyable. Ultimately an immigrant story set in NYC. It has a lighter tone than most I‘ve read with this time and setting.
The Bell Jar was hard. After sitting on my shelf for years, I‘m grateful to finally have read it. #HashtagBrigade

Got 50% through Nemisis, usually love this series but this one is flat and boring….may finish.
Loved My Good Bright Wolf.
Started Dark Mirror this morning and it‘s great 😁
I was planning on doing a combined book report/weekly forecast post, but there are too many books for a single coherent photo!
So this week‘s #BookReport: finished 4 books started earlier this month:
Sea of Tranquility 8/10
Book Lovers 7/10
Cley 6/10
Small World 7.5/10
And read a further 73 pages of the #Chunkster The Bonfire of the Vanities
#bookreport
Finished re-read of The Mask Falling
Read 2nd in AI detective series- Leave no Trace
Debut novel Exile was good
Just started next one in Orphan X series - Nemesis.
Last week, I finished Weyward, and read:
- 144 pages of Sea of Tranquility;
- 75 pages of Cley
- 108 pages of Small Worlds
- 212 pages of Book Lovers
- 92 pages of The Bonfire of the Vanities.
This week, I will probably finish Sea of Tranquility and Book Lovers, and aim for at least:
- 21 pages of Bonfire;
- 38 pages of Cley
- 56 pages of Small Worlds
And maybe start a new book.

Thank you for hosting @TheAromaofBooks

Considering I‘ve had 2 long haul flights - not much reading has happened. Brain has been too tired.
Finished Silent Victim 👍🏻
Reading The Proof of My Innocence currently.
#bookreport
Finished the re-read of The Mime Order, still love this series.
Read Sea State - it was in my kindle and it just got lucky- enjoyed. But of a cosy vibe but has a DV theme so not all cosy.
Fire- dark, sometimes very uncomfortable, next novella in this series.
Currently reading Wheel of Fortune as wanted a bit of Wars of the Roses.
#bookreport
Loved I Who Have Never Known Men- so thought provoking, still thinking about it.

#bookreport
The birthday books are winning the game at the moment!
A Sunny Place was a fabulous collection.
Drowning was a full on action thriller.
Half way through I Who Have Never Known Men and really enjoying it.
#bookreport
Sadly I‘m no longer at Gladstone‘s! Where reading is the name of the game.
Currently reading Love Kills.
Enjoyed all the others. Thanks to @MicheleinPhilly for 1983 😘 - a nostalgic working class reflective novel based in the 80s.
#bookreport
Slow reading week- hoping to fix that with many hours of peaceful reading at Gladstone‘s this week.
Love Me was good.
Blood Like Mine was an enjoyable vampire read.
About half way through The Painter‘s Daughter and enjoying it.

Not far into Dead Sleep yet, but definitely thrilling so far!
#bookreport

Finished Storm Child- really enjoy this series
Finished Bear - discussing later
Fifteen Wild Decembers- about 50% through, it was too noisy in the train to carry on. This book needs quiet time.
Reading Buried Too Deep now.
Got another gig tonight and tomorrow and footie today so not much reading time anticipated.
#bookreport
Not a lot of reading this week. Work 😞
Tiananmen Square was really good.
Storm Child - still reading - didn‘t read the blurb and it‘s about refugees and ‘stopping the boats!‘ Not exactly an escape then after the crappy U.K. week.
I have 6 gigs in 4 days this week so not much reading time, already tired!!
#bookreport
Had a good start to the week with The Treatment and Sunburn. Most of the week spent reading The Alternatives.
Just started Tiananmen Square.
#bookreport
Loved Le Fay ❤️
Her Side of the Story - half way through, there‘s a good story in here- but the translation is clunky and there is so much detail. The first 120 pages could have been 20. I will probably return to this.
Currently reading Sunburn- recommended to me by one of our SU officers.
#bookreport
Survivor‘s Guilt was a great one in this series with a huge twist!
All Fours- not for me
Every Move You Make- entertaining read
Currently reading Le Fay and loving being in the Arthurian world.

#finished: Finished two books this week and enjoyed both of them.
#currentlyreading: Didn't finish The Maid for a book club meeting but I imagine that I will be able to do so this week. Started Enough on audio and its a little more eyeopening than I expected. Also started The Summer Book Club and I probably can get that completed this week as well. I am just at a standstill with Alice Munro's Best at the moment.
#bookreport & #weeklyforecast

#currentlyreading: All the Light is for a book club meeting; the Alice Munro is a #slowbutsteady (didn't read from it this week); The Music of Bees is for a previous book club meeting and it shouldn't take a lot of time to complete it.
#bookreport
Guilty Mothers ✔️
Time is Running Out 😳 roller coaster ride
Sandwich ♥️ real life problems and challenges
The Bone Season- started the new authors preferred versions in preparation for number 5 early next year - love this series.
