I haven‘t got a report from #hiselderliness yet so I‘ve filled in the gaps with some photos from my nephews engagement party last night! (Just showing off the gorgeous couple) And me and two of my sisters on the right.
Book report didn‘t quite go as planned - but I managed to knock off TOAFK which means I‘m ready for the Proust readalong now with @Booksnchill Also listened to the 2nd HP and started Interpreter of Maladies

3. I‘ll be reading Blonde for awhile, it‘s long & very good , but the mix of biography & fiction is particularly poignant in this one ... it‘s having a big impact on me ... her life 💔

I completed 7 books this week, bringing my monthly total to 28 books! Definitely the MOST books I ever read in one month. Quite a few were very short and the inclusion of audiobooks really increased my numbers. I finished 2 books today, which I didn‘t include in my January stats🤓
I‘m hoping to focus my February reads on books hiding out on my Kindle plus adding audiobooks.

#24B4Monday #readathon is over. I read 16 hours this weekend and I'm proud of myself. I'm a slow reader and I read 100pages per day. And this is great motivation to me. 💪💪❤

I read The Whisper Men which is great! Also finished children book The Moon and me. Still have a few chapthers to read in Love According to Science. Listening a few chapters All the Stars in the Heavens (when walking and houseworking).

I gave Red, White and Royal Blue 3.5 stars, Tender at the Bone 4 stars, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was a reread. I‘m just loving listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks and 9yo is keen to get the Libby app so he can hear them too.
Dad bailed on Searching for the Lost Tombs of Egypt which he said was over his head. He loved Sailing Alone Around the World which is Joshua Slocum‘s story ⬇️

Had a pretty good week, all things considered, and I probably won‘t finish anything else today, so here‘s my #bookreport for the week:

- Finished Happy Ever After, gets off to a slowish start but picks up pace very quickly and turns into a very good thriller. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- Finished my 64-page sample of Donal Ryan‘s next book, due out late summer.

- started A Cheesemonger‘s History of the British Isles and Djinn Patrol.

Also squeezed in an audio, a bit of feel-good chick lit, Tremarnock ⭐️⭐️⭐️ to while away the commute.

I have had an emotional rollercoaster of a week, that luckily ended on a very high note! Because of this (and a general lack of time) I haven‘t had much time to read, but it is what it is. At least, I had a five star read this week, so I really can‘t complain 🙌 #BookReport

This week I finished only one, but one is a real door stopper, so that‘s about what I expected.

Oh wait, not true! I also read The Princess Diarist on audio 🤣. As you can tell it didn‘t make much of an impression on me.

Lots of good reads / January is proving to be a great month and start to 2020 📚🤓
Audiobooks have definitely upped my reading stats and are slowly becoming my preferred mode of reading🎧

I‘m thinking to focus on Ebooks in February as my #KindleDeals are really piling up
Also plan on reading one #ARC a week to help reduce my #NetGalley titles

Great reading week! I am now 9 of 10 for #JumpStart2020 and am almost done with the two in progress.
