Combining two prompts to catch up. My easiest flowers are from this bush in the backyard and there are also pretty flowers on the book cover. 💐The Forbidden Garden is a sequel to the author's The Sparrow Sisters. I didn't know & read them out of order which always drives me crazy 😜but I really liked the book so it was worth it to go back and read the first book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️I always find it difficult to rate poetry as I just don't get it and I definitely didn't like this volume as much as I liked Milk and Honey. I do however find Kaur's poetry to be accessible and relatable so a pick for me.
Gotta admit, this is one of the first #botm books to excite me in quite a while. I actually choose 3 books this month 🙄. So ready for a great read!
