DebinHawaii @LeahBergen I did the same. I tried to order a cheap copy from e-bay but couldn‘t find one that was at the right price & delivered to Hawaii & I just couldn‘t make my finger press “buy now” for $13 for the Kindle one after the reviews.😔 3y

This was such a great Dollar Tree find! Stories two and three that connected and featured boys from the San Diego barrio were excellent. I also enjoyed his dip into a dystopian story about an American drought. The two magical realism stories weren‘t my favorite, but overall this was a wonderful collection!

britt_brooke Dang! You flew through it. 🤩 I have a hard time not doing the same, but have to pace myself for book club. It‘s a struggle. 😅 I‘ve read, and loved, the first two stories so far. We‘re doing 3-4 stories each week. 4y
