⭐️⭐️⭐️ Started before his death; completed after. This irreverent travel guide is organized a bit wonky for me, but over all, I enjoyed it. As with any guide, there‘s a lot of useful stuff, but no doubt, some outdated info, too. I listened to the audio and it was just okay. A worthwhile read, but I don‘t suspect Tony would‘ve been a fan, though.

Walking my buddy in between school drop offs to beat the heat. Tennessee is hotter than 10 hells this week and Champ is not here for it.

Enzo McLeod arrives in Cahours, France to investigate a 7 year-old cold case of a 3 star chef who was found shot dead. Was it suicide or murder? An intricate plot, full of action, twists, & a dramatic surprise ending & salivating descriptions of food & wine kept me engaged.Themes of family-love,betrayal redemption,reconciliation-are explored throughout, involving brothers, fathers & sons, wives, lovers &daughters. #setieslove2024 5⭐️

TBH, I missed the 🔻on the prompt when I looked this morning (in my defense it was the butt crack before dawn & I was at the airport) & I started pulling Love-titled cookbooks so I just went with it! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Here‘s a 🔻of 3 cookbooks I own & love. ❤️🔻❤️ About to take off back to Oahu after a looong day in Kona.

TheBookgeekFrau Don't feel bad, I also missed the triangle part too and I'd already had my coffee and been functioning for an hour and a half 🙇🏻‍♀️🤣 (edited) 8mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I missed it too and I‘m a cohost 😂😂😂 8mo

This is a historical murder mystery set in the South of France and Italy during the Renaissance. I was drawn to it because it revolves around food (the title means “golden apple“ (ie, tomato - nothing to do with Golden Delicious) murders) but I'm unconvinced so far...

Happy New Year! Welcome to the #MRC2023 The 12 prompts fit rather nicely on a bingo card don't they? You can tag me to submit entries, and if you put your book in the same spot on the bingo card, I'll know that's an entry, or you can make individual posts and mention the prompt! All the shareables, printables, and ways to enter are on the blog as well.

The tagged book is a just one option of many for “A book featuring Indigenous food or cooking“.

As an art lover, especially of the Impressionist time period, this book has been a treasured book in my collection for many years. There‘s historical information about Giverny during the time period in which Monet lived there, images of paintings by other artists as well as some of Monet‘s creations, photos of Monet‘s home, and the Hotel Baudy, where many artists boarded during their stay. #MountTBR
