“I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach…”
How Do I Love Thee? is a warm, beautiful book that helps kids see how love can be all around them. It‘s great for bedtime or for any time you want to feel close to someone special.
This is a sweet book about love, inspired by a famous poem. It follows a little girl who shows her love for everything around her. With simple words and colorful pictures, this book helps kids understand what it feels like to love deeply.
It's too similar to the Harry Potter series in general framework (and some specific details).
I have an online snow day today, so I had a few Zoom meetings this morning but also time to finish this magical story. I thoroughly enjoyed the world building and characters in this story. It‘s very much about friendship and prejudice as well. I could see some of the events coming but there were still plenty of interesting twists. It‘s clearly the beginning of a series, but it also contained a complete story.

June and her little sister and their mom are at a homeless shelter now after losing their dad, and Mom is catatonic- Tyrell‘s been at Huey House for 3 years now, since his dad went to jail. Life isn‘t perfect there, but friends and special shared moments help a lot. Well written!

Ella Durand is the first Conjurer to attend Arcanum Training Institute, where Marvellers learn to discover and develop their magical talents. She is a brave and persistent girl. The Marvellers is a middle grade fantasy that tackles some important real-world issues while being suspenseful and engaging. The world building is detailed, creative and vivid with a well woven plot. A highly recommended addition to the magic school genre.
