My bingo/I spy card so far.

I (re)read this book for my kids‘ fantasy book club at the library. For some, it was their first experience with an epistolary novel! It‘s a format I adore, so I was honored to introduce them to it. I love that the tale is utterly wacky (invisible, levitating, shape-shifting, bossy chickens!) while also being a gentle exploration of grief (for Sophie‘s abuela, with whom she shared a special closeness, and for her uncle, whom she‘d never met).👇🏻
I am making this post for accountability purposes.
I recently discovered I have 50+ physical books I have won in giveaways or gotten in book swaps, but have not read. I decided this summer to read as many as I can.
I put them into a spreadsheet, they have all been assigned a number & have all been assigned an emoji.
I am excited about the variety of books on this list & hope to knock a lot off my TBR!
Wish me luck - I may need it, 😁! 💙💙💙
Here is my #bookspinbingo board for my May TBR. After a not great reading month in April, I‘m giving myself more freedom.
My #bookspin pick will be a Library Book
My #doublespin pick will be a Book of the Month pick
I didn't do particularly well in April's #BookSpinBingo -- didn't finish my #BookSpin or #DoubleSpin selections and didn't get any bingos. Oh well, better luck next month! As always, it was fun making the attempt. Thanks for hosting, @TheAromaofBooks
Chrissy, thank you!!! Such a delightful Spring surprise! What a cute dish cloth - I‘ve never seen a design like that! We love the bunny, as you can see! (And I love Bunnies by the Bay! I still have a blanket my mom put together for me) I am excited to try the coffee, especially since you love it! And we are so happy to have more books! Jamberry is so much fun!
