I love Boromir's episode. It's so strong and complex. And l love that Sam starts to come into his own here.

I'm posting late, but l finished on time.
Now l have to catch up on The Two Towers and #HobbitWeek and all of your comments and posts. I'll do my best tomorrow.

I am not a horse person, but these guys get the coolest lines, the coolest outfits, and the coolest theme in the soundtrack. Kind of sad I don‘t have an Éomer or Éowyn focused card. #hobbitweek

So, I do love Tolkien and his description of nature and humanity, but sometimes I get annoyed at his lack of appreciate for industry. I am not saying Sauron was right (in fact he alpha-broed too close to the fiery chasm from whence his ring of power came). But I do think there needs to be a happy medium. How else would I get to post on this lovely app if not for industry? #hobbitweek

I have never been an outdoorsy person, but anytime I pick up one of Tolkien‘s books I want to go for a walk or sit outside. Everything is picturesque, but not just beautiful. It can be terrible and grotesque when the story needs it.
I think Ents and Entwives create a lovely bridge between the moving characters and the shifting environment. Even if I tend to be a bit hasty during the Ent focused chapters. #hobbitweek

I am terrible at digital art and too lazy to draw something, so I decided to pull Magic cards that related to each #hobbitweek prompt. Unfortunately I don‘t have much for Adûnaic, so let‘s call it Second Age adjacent.

#HobbitWeek - Day 2 - Entish: Middle-earth Landscape

I love Tolkien's relationship with nature. I think his is more than just respect. He relates to Nature as with an equal. He doesn't just worship her, but he tries to understan her and act in her same way.
He treats herime a beloved friend, not like a goddess.
I love this attitude.

It was such a busy week that l almost forgot about the #HobbitWeek but today l finally got abou it.

Day 1 - Adunaic - Kingdoms of Man

I loved the Akallabeth since the first time l read it. It's such a tragic, and still beautiful story. And with so many incredible character, for a relatively short story.

I'm also quite impressed that Tolkien created a language for them many years after working to his Elvish languages.

#hobbitweek — Favourite theme or subplot. To me this will always be adventure. 🐞

Tolkien has always been about that facing your fears, taking a leap of faith and going on the adventure to your destiny. I felt this immensely when reading the Hobbit for the first time when I was a mere child of eight. I still feel it now whenever I reread the Hobbit. It‘s almost inspiring, and I find that all of Tolkien‘s books have this. #tolkienite #tolkien

So, it‘s #hobbitweek and In The Hobbit I‘ve always been a touch impressed by Thorin‘s Map (invisible moon runes and all!) and Kili‘s rune Stone. Yes, yes, they‘re not I suppose magical artefacts in the way this is meant but they show clearly to me both the magic of intention (Kili‘s stone) and the magic of words/runes and the moon (Thorin‘s map), and really they‘re very real kinds of magic. 🐞
