This is like a memoir. I was fascinated on information about women who decided to stay single on those times where that decision was not well accepted. So well documented and my admiration for that big step👏These history facts were explained by the author to point out why she decided to stay single⬇️

Gissy (Cont.) I don‘t know to explain that it is curious how and why this author has to explain/justify her single state over and over. Because our modern society still judge this behavior? Because she still needs to accept it? 🤷🏽‍♀️I don‘t know but it was so informative. Didn‘t like as much as I wanted it3⭐️ 4w

Gissy @PaperbackPirate I bet the stack of books is going to attack me instead😂Life is complicated so I‘m reading an average of 10 books per month, sometimes less than 10. Besides daily chores/activities, my reading will depend on book length and how dense it is. But I‘m a mood reader, sometimes mood is unstable with exacerbation of insecurity symptoms of what to read next😳😆that‘s why I need a variation in books genre😂

Still waiting for a couple of books. I‘m buying them through eBay since Waterstones doesn‘t ship to PR anymore and there is problem with Blackwell. The problem with eBay is that I can‘t track the package. I guess Persephone company is my only choice. 1mo

Gissy @LeahBergen I can try Amazon because in the past I tried B & N but I had similar problems. The order went through but at the end I used to received a message indicating that the book couldn‘t be shipped to PR. I still can try other sellers in eBay and Amazon. Buying the books directly from Persephone UK sometimes is pricey. But I want them😩Reader sacrifices, spend more money in books we love to own😄👌 1mo
