This is the ring of Christmas trees set up in Punxsutawney Town Square, shortly before the Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony. The trees are decorated by various organizations around town, such as the Art Club and the choir. 😊🎄#ThanksgivingVacation

My parents' neighbors gave @BookBabe and me some books to help us grow our home's library collection. These three were included, ranging from 1876 to 1893. In addition to the tagged book, the other two are Longfellow's "Hyperion" and Martha Finley's "Elsie Dinsmore". Such fantastic additions ???????!!! #ThanksgivingVacation

This is #Moody. She's not so moody anymore since all the boys left, lol. She used to be one of 12 horses we had on the farm, now she's the last and enjoys having everything to herself. As a kid, instead of doing all of my barn chores, I used to sit on a hay stack or in one of the stalls with one of the horses and read 😆. What a nerd I was 🤓, but a horse-hand nerd 🤠! There was one person as I grew up who pushed my reading habit and passion to write: my mom. A couple other family members recognized and accepted it, but she was the enthusiastic one who kept my drive ramped up.
