Thank you @Eggs for creating this fun play-card and for the tag 😉📚💝.

#WondrousWednesday

1- The Mud Pony by Caron Lee Cohen. To this day, it remains a favorite.

#themudponyreviewedbyanncrystal

2- I have a strange connection with Bruce Wayne. I don't know why, I just understand his character. I would have said Batman in the past, but it is Bruce Wayne's Batman that I understand.

👇

AnnCrystal Of course, right now, Batman has become impossible for me...due to reality being so vary Gotham-like.

#zeal4batman
#batmanreviewedbyanncrystal

3- The Half King by Melissa Landers. five🌟. This book was surprising. I began it believing it was going to be a Beauty & The Beast infused love story...it was something else entirely. A storyline of a woman finding her power in a male controlled world.

💙 Tuck Everlasting was a book that really stuck with me as a kid. I loved the plot. The book made me think. I still re-read this book and love it every time.
💙 There are parts of Marigold from Magic for Marigold that remind me of myself as a child.
💙 I most recently finished The Line of Beauty. 3.75 stars It started and ended strong, but was a bit of a slog in the middle.

#wondrouswednesday @eggs

Eggs I loved Tuck too. Thx for playing 🥳 3h

1️⃣ My favorite books when I was very young were the Biily and Blaze series.
2️⃣ Count Alexander Rostov because he reminds me a lot of my father.
3️⃣ Just finished the tag book last week. Book 8 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. The MMC is my favorite of the brothers, John Matthew. 5🌟

🌹In our home we got a morning newspaper and an evening newspaper. That meant me begging someone to read the comics to me x2/day!! Also loved any book about kittens or pups.

1. I bought was Summer at Tiffany for the #sundaybuddyread
2. I do like to do reviews occasionally, especially when a book hits me. I do them at NetGalley to get ARC :) and also will do them on GR, add them to Amazon for NetGalley books, mention best loved books on Instagram. I love spreading book joy as much as possible. 📚

#WondrousWednesday

1) Tagged. It‘s in the mail. He‘s an auto-buy author for me.

2) For the NetGalley books, sometimes I like writing them, other times not so much. 😬 I post on NetGalley, Litsy, GR, BookBub, Amazon, B&N, my blog. For bought/borrowed books, I usually leave a star rating on GR. If I really like it, I‘ll write a review. I‘m trying to use Story Graph more, but I keep forgetting.

Eggs Thanks for sharing your reviewing information 📚 6d

#WondrousWednesday @Eggs (😍 for the tag!)

1. Tagged: THE BOOK OF ALCHEMY; it just came out. I learned about the author from an intriguing article in the NYT and just had to have it.
2. I keep two records of books I've read: #1: a journal where I write down favorite quotes that will hopefully help me remember the story and #2: a Litsy review. I love the required shortness of words; you have to really choose your words wisely.
You're all tagged!

Suet624 I agree with you about enjoying having to be brief in reviews. 7d
dabbe @Suet624 What an exercise to try to teach my students! Write a literary analysis in less that 150 words! They're like 😳! Succinct word choice is so important! 🤩😍🤣 7d

dabbe @BooksandCoffee4Me 🎯🩵🎯 I'm not either, and I miss this kind of teaching most! Grading essays and ornery parents? #notsomuch 🤣 7d
dabbe @BooksandCoffee4Me I'd love to see it if you wouldn't mind sharing the link! 😍 7d
BooksandCoffee4Me @dabbe I refer to it on Pinterest as a Commonplace book - similar purpose: https://www.pinterest.com/?boardId=126663876958866610 7d

1. I recently purchased the tagged book in April on Kindle. It was a $2.99 Kindle deal so I bought it. I‘m looking forward to reading it and learning about all of the different owls that are out there. Recently, I watched a nature show called The Americas that was narrated by Tom Hanks and it showed burrowing owls. I like them. They‘re so cute.

2. Yeah. I use Goodreads, Storygraph, Instagram, Fable, Storylace and Litsy.
