After I got my first cartilage piercings. I stopped at Moe‘s.
One of my bookish goals this year was to go through my books and eliminate those books I didn‘t care for or those that I am never going to read… this bag is the first of that endeavor!
This book is such a hidden gem!
It showcases 50 different “hidden” libraries from all around the world (plus outer space). Every library profile tells you how to find it (if applicable, some are no longer around and some are not open to the public). Also, all the photos have captions which I appreciated.

Here are my favourites of this year - probably quite similar to a lot of other Littens‘ lists! 🤪 There‘s a fair few from prize lists and, of course, many recommended (or even gifted) by Litsy friends.
I think the top 17/18 were easy but there were a few vying for those last few spots. Those that just missed out included Lula Dean, The Wedding People, Wolf at the Table, The Collected Regrets of Clover and Notes on an Execution.
This is my #top24of24! I was a bit stingier with the 5⭐️ this year, and only 8 received that (upper left quadrant plus Dead Bastards and Cue the Sun in bottom right). The rest are 4.75⭐️ and 4.5⭐️. Nine of these are nonfiction, which is about normal and pretty close to my reading NF/F split. Can‘t wait to see even more of these as the year winds up! 👏🏻📚
Just two weeks until the end of the year, it‘s time for our tradition to share our #Top24of24.
This is mine so far. And yes, if you look good it are actually 25 books 😉.
I‘ll tag a few people to get things started, please share your favorites and tag a few more 💝
100%!!!
Today is my birthday (61st it's hard to believe), so of course I had to go buy some books for my ever growing, slightly groaning TBR shelves. I liked Blake Crouch's Upgrade, and I already have Dark Matter, Stardust is the only book by Neil Gaiman that I haven't read (I tried watching the movie and stopped 30 minutes into it), and Dreadful just sounded like a fun book.
