Finished my first table decoration bunting today, which goes lovely with my Serenity graphic novels that I started rereading too. Our wedding theme is fandoms, with each table having a different fictional couple ❤️ Zoe and Wash are relationship goals. #bookishwedding #fandomwedding
My partner and I had a rare alone moment today when we nipped out for presents. Stopped at Starbucks, and I got a lovely candy cane gin. I then spent a gossipy, crafty afternoon with @toric and our friend Sarah. I managed to make some of the flowers for my bouquet (made from the tagged book) and test out my fictional couples bunting for the tables! #bookishwedding #fandomwedding
Realised I hadn't shared anything from the wedding in a while. Sorry for the bad photo, current phone camera is seriously lacking. These are our Save The Dates. The back tells the person which parts they are invited to. I hand stamped every single one of these. It was worth it.
Where has the last week gone? I have so much to do. Had to change the wedding date so I have lost over a month off my planning. Just over 9 months to do everything. My partner and I trialled the flowers for our table scatterings today. These are made from our joint favourite book, Assassin's Apprentice, got a new copy. (1st, 2nd and 3rd attempt from left to right) I love them! #bookishwedding #bookishbeamishwedding
The good news? The Copy of Good Omens was so grotty that I felt no guilt ripping it apart (it lost a good 100 pages as they had black mold on them 😷) Edit: it's now all in the bin. It smelled so bad I didn't want to use it! 😂
The bad news is that the copy of Assassin's Apprentice is 22 years old and in so beautiful a condition that I just can't bring myself to take it apart. So I many be ordering new copies instead 😂
