I listened to 4 hours, eighteen minutes and thirty-two seconds of so-called humble bragging and I could not for the life of me continue. This is the first celeb memoir audiobook that I am bailing on.

This week we celebrate the best in the books we read in the past year. It's time for the Book Oscars!! We debate fun categories such as best villain and best scene before announcing the winners for best book, best character, and best author. We love doing this episode!
Also, if you like upcoming book news we have a bit of that in the beginning. Thanks for listening and enjoy!

I'll be singing and dancing to this one all day now. 🤣🎶🤣
This book is a Netgalley book I was approved for before it was approved but I never got around to reading it. I found out that recently Taylor Swift is older than me by about 6 or 7 months so she‘s not that much older than me. Her birthday is December 13, 1989 and my birthday is July 9, 1990. She turned 35 in December. I‘ll be 35 in July. I like her so I think that‘s really cool.
I can't possibly pick favorites from this list. So random thoughts, instead:
🩵 Up is my favorite movie ever. It warms my icy heart. I cry 3 times during it to this day.
🩵 Philip Seymour Hoffman was one of my favorite actors. I'm so sad he died so young.
🩵 When Pulp Fiction came out, our local art theatre showed it during their Oscar series, and a bunch of elderly ladies who were regulars walked out in disgust. 🤣🫠

I‘m an OG swiftie from right back when I first heard Tim McGraw back in 2006. Reading this book was an insight into Swifts life I didn‘t have before and I loved every minute of it.
I feel like adding a little more non fiction into the mix might be a good idea. Going to spend the morning seeing if I can get into this.

One of Jimmy's first movies was the remake of Seventh Heaven in 1937. I never watched the original. As much as I love Wizard of Oz, my favorites are Katherine Hepburn's Jo in Little Women, Philadelphia Story (Jimmy won Oscar), and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington ❤️❤️❤️. I should've done better, but I only cared for Stewart, Hepburn, or Grant.
