WhatWouldJaneDo It's a good one! Super twisted but that's to be expected with Flynn. I really liked the miniseries as well. 4y

All the books of my life: a bibliobiography | Sheila Kaye-Smith

Do you ever have that thing where you have a couple of books to finish but then a book you‘re really excited to read comes in the mail, so you start that, and you need a new audio book, so you start one but determine after listening for an hour or so that it would be better to read the print version, then you remember that your book club is in a week, so you start that book right away? Yeah, me too. 😩

I am considering cancelling my #botm membership. Anyone regret canceling theirs or thinking about cancelling too? I have been underwhlemed lately. 🤔🤔

TheBookHippie I have been underwhelmed as well ...they seem subpar ...I used to want all five now I'm happy if I find one ....I have cancelled before but came back 6 months later 🤣hoping for better next month! (edited) 6y

nosferatoos This whole year has been pretty underwhelming. I usually manage to find at least one book so its worth keeping for that. This was the first month in a very long time that I have been excited about a lot of the choices. 6y

parttimedomestic I canceled a few months ago. It was mostly a budget thing for me, I would rather spend that money on a new book I‘m actually excited about rather than one I‘m meh on that will just sit on my shelf. No regrets so far! 6y

MinDea @parttimedomestic that is how I am feeling. I would rather buy a book I am excited about then be forced to pick one I am not sure I'll end up reading. 6y

DGRachel I‘ve been thinking about canceling for a while and this month‘s choices are very disappointing for me, so I will probably skip and then cancel as soon as there‘s another month where I can use this credit. 6y

Jee_HookedOnBookz I love this discussion! Guess I made the right choice by not signing up! I agree with some of you who said you'd rather spend on a book which you're excited about than having to spend on a book or books that have been 'chosen' for you.. 6y

catiewithac I used my last credits this month and plan to cancel. I‘ve been a member for 3 years but the selections have been poor quality this year in particular. I miss the judges and interesting picks. I‘ve joined Greywolf Press Galley Club and & Other Books subscriptions. These are both independent presses that release interesting books. I‘m not a thriller fan so #BOTM is no longer a good match for me. Don‘t think I‘ll miss it! 6y

MeganAnn I‘ve been a member for a few years and I used to love it because I ended up with great books I wasn‘t seeing elsewhere. I‘ve been thinking about cancelling too because lately the choices are not nearly as exciting and oftentimes I see them everywhere else too so it‘s not like I wouldn‘t be exposed to them anyway. And thrillers are not my thing so it‘s not as good of a match as it used to be. 6y

Gaylagal2 I almost did, but I truly enjoy it and the selections are pretty good. Sometimes not so good, but then I just skip it😉 6y

sprainedbrain I cancelled last December as part of my book buying ban... I did rejoin the month Circe came out because it was a good deal, but then I cancelled again. I don‘t regret it so far! 6y

Valeka I keep skipping months and have been for the past 7 months. I am seriously considering canceling it and getting Audible books instead. 6y

JamieArc I just do month to month, so I only ever have 1 credit at a time. For me, it‘s worth it because when they have books that I really want, they are half as expensive as buying in store, and I‘ve read a bunch of books through botm that I probably never would have read otherwise. 6y

ErikasMindfulShelf @JackOBotts I know there is a cancellation button on the website now so I don‘t think you need to call. My membership renews late December so I‘m going to do it before then. I saw someone else cancel and they had to use their credit writhing a certain amount of time. 6y

MinDea @JackOBotts My Account. Click Learn More under My Membership at the bottom of that section you should see a red box that says "Cancel My Membership" under the monthly and yearly membership options. Hope that helps! 6y

JoScho If you have all the library ebooks downloaded on your kindle and you put it on airplane mode they will stay until you turn off airplane mode 😉 6y

hlgreenfield The exact same thing happened to me! It used to be unthinkable to me to be reading more than one, but now I do it a lot! ( Although eventually I reach a point in one of the books where I get obsessed and focus on one until it ends) 8y
