Hour 12 check-in @24in48 (running late because I was finishing a book 😅). Featuring perhaps my favorite shelf in my apartment and mostly because it is the only one I have been able to maintain a theme and a modicum of organization on over the years. Do you ever have that thing where you have a couple of books to finish but then a book you‘re really excited to read comes in the mail, so you start that, and you need a new audio book, so you start one but determine after listening for an hour or so that it would be better to read the print version, then you remember that your book club is in a week, so you start that book right away? Yeah, me too. 😩

Christmas presents from my husband arrived today while he was at work. Clearly it's books. Feeling all the love and also struggling not to peek. Lol. I have like over 100 TBR books on my Amazon list so who knows what's in there?!?!

1. I heard @Liberty talk about it on All the Books!
2. Yes. I write them down in a note book. I know really old fashioned, but I started tracking in 1994
3. Yes. I'm made aware of a lot of books I wouldn't otherwise know. Sometimes I will also know well ahead of time since they get arcs early and can look forward to them.
4. Too tired to read tonight, but I'm currently reading House of Leaves and Far from the Madding Crowd

I feel like I‘m on time crunches for so many books and when I‘m reading 1 I feel guilty I‘m not reading another so I am concurrently reading the most books I ever have at once 😬😬😬 save me from myself and my library due dates!

My #potterheadswap AND my #thriftbooks order came in today. Eeeeep! I am opening my Thriftbooks order to tide me over until midnight for my first ever swap package!

This is my Christmas haul this year, including the book (Ask Bob) that my husband ordered but which didn‘t arrive in time for the holiday. He‘d forgotten that he ordered it and put the package in my mail pile based solely on the fact it was clearly a book. Lol! All books are from my wish list and chosen because he liked the titles. 😂

Tomorrow I write a huge exam and then I can get back to reading for fun! Hopefully I pass the f&$%er and don‘t have to go back to studying constantly.

Here's the books I read for the month of May. Technically Adam Sharp doesn't count bc it's a DNF. Also Stargirl was an audiobook so I didn't "read" it. Still pretty impressive with all that's going on at work! Least fave- Adam Sharp, Startup. Fave-The Handmaid's Tale.

Finished! Finally. It only took 4 days 🤦‍♀️ 20 books purged. I might put one back, but I'm not sure.
