When they get to 68 the sheep does not want to be counted. And the kid gets to experience what mom experiences when it‘s time to go to bed. This book was fine.
pickAn entertaining read. Definitely a page turner - I love psychological thrillers. Like others have said I don‘t really know what happened at the end, but a pick nonetheless.
This is 100% legit! Her other four are a little different. The back pillow does sound nice, though.

pickI forgot to review this. I listened to the audiobook mostly, but needed the physical book to read the ending to find out what I missed/misunderstood listening. But guess what? I still have no clue what actually happened at the end. I don‘t need a neat and tidy ending but I also don‘t love it when I feel like I‘ve missed something. This seems to be purposeful. Still, I enjoyed this propulsive and quick read. I was anxious throughout!
1. I‘m feeling pretty good today.
2. I‘ve had trouble getting to sleep for most of my life, but once I do I can sleep well. Lately it‘s been a bit out of whack.
3. Make the room cool (not cold), dark, and quiet. Play soothing music or a sleep story podcast if needed, but don‘t play with your phone for any other reason. (I need to be better following this advice!)

I use the Rise app to keep track of my sleep debt. I‘ve never been a good sleeper, but it‘s been really bad the last two weeks. I‘m working on getting my sleep debt down in the coming days.
On a positive note, at least I‘ve kept up with my exercise! 😆
pick4 ⭐Jane Yolen is a master storyteller. Along with the illustrator in less than 20 words, they can have a book from beginning to end. It‘s a perfect book for bedtime for that last push right before sleep.

I finished this one last week but hadn‘t reviewed it yet. I got it from the library based on the cover & description & made it a January #Roll100 pick (# 62 Any Library Book). (I also saw @BarbaraBB really liked it-always a plus!) So yeah, this book is both very dark & very good. Creepy, set at night & in Iceland where a young woman is exhausted & finds out she‘s sleepwalking to the tune of 40,000 steps on her smart ⬇️
