Hello team. The #wintergames are still a a few weeks away but teams are starting to be planned. If I have tagged you, welcome to #TeamElectricSex based on my fav holiday movie.

We do have a few things to decide, like if we would like to send holiday cards, or do a book mark swap etc. I‘m open to ideas.

sblbooks I'm excited to get started! A bookmark swap or Christmas card exchange sounds like fun. #unpopularopinion: not loving the team name, I do like The Christmas Story though. I was actually planning to read the book next month. 4y

Insightsintobooks @sblbooks I agree I'm not big on the name. I'm think it sounds fun and am excited. I hope I do okay. I don't think I'd personally be able to do any card exchanges though. 4y

LibrarianRyan @kezzlou85 oh my Goodness. It‘s from the movie A Christmas Story (which is based off a book). The dad wins a major award which is the pictured leg lamp. Ralphie narrates the story and he remembers thinking it was like electric sex. The story is innocent and sweet and takes place in the 50s. It‘s got some great lines. If you are in the US, TBS plays it ever Christmas Eve for 24 hours. I never get to watch it but they play it 4y

LibrarianRyan @Insightsintobooks I bet you will do great. It‘s okay if you can‘t do a card swap. That‘s why I‘m asking. Hosts had let us know people were asking and they didn‘t want to do anything in the big group, but thought some of the small groups might like to. I personally don‘t want to do a book swap so I offered up ideas. I look forward to having you on my team. 4y

kezzlou85 @LibrarianRyan I will have to look that up. The idea of a card or bookmark swap is interesting but I do live in the UK so shipping either way is more expensive. Not sure if everyone would be willing to pay the extra. 4y

I‘m guessing wash team will be between 10-15 ppl by the end of the month. I‘d be shocked if we had more than 150 total people, but it‘s always possible. Does that work for everyone? 🎄🦌🎅🏻 4y

Clwojick @wanderinglynn I can certainly put the word out once we have a better estimate of participants. 🥰 I want everyone to have equal team members. I‘ll be auto assigning them.
