IndoorDame I guess when it rains it pours? She doesn‘t take any time to wallow though, and this is what I liked about her when she was first introduced. That she seems to have boundless energy and confidence. She dives headfirst into solving all the problems that just appeared with zero plan. I‘m excited to see what plan emerges when we read the next section! 1mo

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I want Alice to take down Mary, but I am in the minority when I say, I don't really like Alice either. She seems too vainglorious about her position in The Mint and her thieving skills. She is very impulsive and too easily goes to violence. She might not be the idiot that Tommy is, but I am not overly impressed with her either. Imagine if your boss cared enough about who you sleep with to follow you?! Yikes! 4w

TheBookgeekFrau Great episode!! I remember reading this short story in middle school and commenting that it sounded like a Twilight Zone episode. My teacher not only told me I was correct, but it launched a whole class discussion. Ahhhh, the good ol' school days when lessons could great unexpected turns {sigh} 11mo

Daisey I used the teleplay with my students when I taught 8th grade and then we would watch the episode. Definitely led to some interesting discussions about the content and the video quality. 11mo
