You all know that I love Nancy Drew books, and this one is a personal favourite.

Whenever I do a collage puzzle, I get a kick out of seeing which book cover or poster or whatever comes together first. THE CLUE OF THE BROKEN LOCKET won!
My first Nancy Drew! This was fun. Not a sophisticated mystery, it was full of unlikely coincidences, but I enjoyed it anyway. I can see why Nancy Drew is an engaging heroine, with her cheerful independence, her spiffy roadster, and her indulgent father. This was a fun escape, and I‘ll probably pick up more of these as fun comfort reads!
A confession and a question: I‘ve never read any Nancy Drew books. I have these two lovely old editions and was thinking about picking them up this month, but I‘m not sure where to start. Does it matter what order you read them in? Are they episodic enough that you can jump in and out anywhere, or should I start at the beginning? (Because if I need to start at the beginning, I need to source several others before starting these!)

Some things I have been thinking while binge reading Nancy Drew.
Where the heck is River Heights?
Nancy Drew is fearless.
Nancy and her friends were constantly in real danger.
Despite being constantly in danger her friends always helped out.
Nancy was a bona fide badass! (See pic)
I still love Nancy Drew. 🔎❤️🔦

She hurried down the attic stairs. As she started along the hall Nancy heard #quarreling adult voices coming from one of the rooms near that of the twins‘. #QuotsyFeb19 #quarrel #NancyDrew
So I think I‘m getting to the point in the series where plot lines are becoming increasingly far fetched, but I‘ve got to say, I‘m still really enjoying these.
I found some of our old Nancy Drew books at @myellenbee 's house! I love that these are also old library books. I have so many memories of reading these at my grandparents' house when I was little.

Hands down, George and Bess. These ladies truly stuck by Nancy Drew and helped with all her mystery solving. 🔦🔍
