mcctrish I‘m behind because of my obsession with Fourth wing/Iron Flame and then I read this chapter - opening with a death roll, poor choices, pig wash theft ( I don‘t even know what it is but for shame), then spousal abuse and a forerunner for todays political arena where if you yell lies loud and long enough people believe them #goodgrief 3h

mcctrish @BarkingMadRead I read Fourth Wing basically in a day with a break for sleeping - I‘m taking longer with this one and I‘m almost at the end and now I have slowed down because I‘m afraid of a cliff hanger. I grabbed Onyx Storm from Costco but I have ACOTAR to start and irl book club too so I have to push OS out 3h

I wonder if this is why I far prefer Shakespeare‘s tragedies to his comedies? Some sort of genetic predisposition to wanting fictional characters to die by the end. I have said that during some of the comedies. “I don‘t like any of these characters. I hope they all die at the end.” 😂🤣😂

GingerAntics @TheBookHippie that‘s right, I heard about that on the news. They are NUTS!!! Covid 19 may have neurological side effects that we don‘t know about because it‘s so new (there is reason to believe kids are going to have those symptoms more than anything else). The lung damage can take up to 20 years to repair. Oh yeah. No big deal. 🙄 Science denying 🤬🤬! 5y
