How was Thursday? Another busy day at school but did make some great plans for next year. 6 days! The local secondary school (across field) closed down today due to the high number of positive cases.

CocoReads Hope you can get through the next 7. We‘ve been fairly snowed under with the extra responsibilities added to our job without extra help. And in fact, we‘re short one as someone‘s on vacation, but I have my own vacation coming up in a couple weeks so there‘s nothing new there 3y

DieAReader Was lucky enough to spend some time with my grandma & my hubby this morning (before other family members dropped by) to wish her happy birthday🎂 Aside from that, got some shopping done for garden/flowerbed stuff. Hubby‘s relaxation project last year was the garden (it‘s been expanded this year🤣) & a new endeavour for 2021 has been partial front & back flowerbeds. A good day so far 3y

kezzlou85 @Andrew65 glad it was a better day today. Had my pre op assessment today so we're now in strict isolation until Friday. Girls are homeschooling the rest of the week just waiting to hear if Covid and MRSA swabs come back negative. 3y

I attended a press conference for work at the Chamber of Commerce and it felt good to see some folks after 15+ months of Covid distancing. Otherwise I'm a little achy after restarting my yoga routine, but that just means it's working. 3y

CocoReads Long long long day. Half hour of overtime though. And 2 hours tomorrow. Anytime they wanna let us hire some help, I‘m all for it. 3y

TheSpineView Busy day but not with work. With the grandkids gone I finally got to the barn to ride. Hot and humid but still enjoyed as I was having riding withdrawals.😂 Spent the rest of the day cleaning up after the grandkids. I don't know how they managed to dirty so many towels in just 3.5 days. All the beds in the house had to changed, bathrooms to clean, etc. They were worth all the work! 3y

Lynnsoprano Wonderful weekend. In Orlando, visiting our son and his family, also attended a live music performance for first time in forever! Great chamber music concert by members of Orlando Philharmonic, with a brunch beforehand. Food and music-it doesn‘t get much better 😄 3y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Warm weather & sunshine. Went grocery shopping then actually had a beer at our local drive bar. 3y

TheSpineView Had a wonderful time with the grands. They headed home late in the afternoon and I managed to get a little housework done before I crashed. I tried to read but found I was so tired I couldn't concentrate. 3y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Cleaning and relaxing today. It was a long week so I'm trying to feel productive while not working too hard. The weather is rather warm with bursts of readin then pockets of sunshine. My physical reading has been pitiful this month, so I'm glad for audiobooks, but I also enjoy music so I won't listen much this weekend. With the added hotels, I need to come to terms with having less down time to read most weeks. 3y

TheSpineView Grand kids are here. I have run non-stop all day long. I am enjoying them but they make me so tired. Would love to have their energy! 3y

How was Friday? Well what a Week! Not even sure I can take in this week and made me feel so incompetent. Good news is all other heads saying the same at the moment. Rounded off today by a positive case and having to shut a bubble and then do track and trace on this. How am I qualified to decide who should isolate or not. I don‘t aware but that is (insert own word here) ridiculous!

CocoReads Stress all around. The new surgical pyxis‘ (Pyxii?) are proving to be more of a challenge than we were originally thinking, especially to a chronically understaffed dept. and now they‘re adding more work with infusion, the new bariatric/ortho wing is close to completion and we asked for more staff and was basically told no. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😡 it‘s enough to make me tear my hair out! 3y

tracey38 @CBee hey. I was walking the dog last Saturday morning and was in the front yard where ithere is a big slope. My sister drove up with my nieces and pulled into the driveway. My dog turned around and ran up the driveway and I wasn't ready. I fell and have a really bad sprain on my right ankle, badly bruised left knee and leg. But nothing is broken and I didn't fall and hurt my back, which is a blessing! Hurting but will be ok. 😊❤ 3y
