Reading Traitors Gate to catch up with the series, eagerly waiting for the next book in the series! I admire Jeffrey Archer‘s writing style and his editing skills. He edits his books up to 14 times! You can see that! So many authors could do with a bit more editing. I‘m spending most of my nights working on my own series atm. It‘s fascinating and fun, a bit scary, but let‘s see what happens!
Yes! Absolutely love this book! ❤️
I loved it! The best thing to do is to read the old books and then continue with this one. So many characters from back in the days, and so much history. This book was great, but also heartbreaking. Peter May is a magnificent writer, and his characters are so believable and flawed that sometimes it chills my bones. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#netgalley
What did I just read? 😳 Absolutely loved this book! This is the darkest book in the series, and oh so fantastic! Highly recommending this book and the whole series! ❤️
Finally got this book today! 🥰 Sitting in the backyard admiring the book, and it started raining. So peaceful and nice ❤️
Yeeeeeeeeees!!!!!! I love Peter May 🥰
I am attending me second writing course this week. Super inspiring! Found my flow, and I am absolutely loving writing 🥰🥰
Yes, it‘s still absolutely magical! Really loved the book the second time as well! Peter May is a truly gifted writer, and I love this trilogy, which will have a fourth book added to it in September. Highly recommended, brilliant storytelling 🥰
Rereading this one, because the trilogy is getting a fourth book in September. So weird, I know I loved the book the first time I read it, but can honestly say I remember nothing at all from it, except the island 🫣🤷🏼🕵🏼😳
When do we start reading? The fourth one will be published in September. Can‘t wait! @Andrew65
We‘re enjoying the writers‘ retreat. People like my book idea and texts. I‘m a bit overwhelmed actually, but in a very good way. Tonight‘s prompt is to come up with a killer beginning, yet here I am on Litsy 🤣🤷🏼🥰👍🏽😆
I‘ll be going on a writer‘s retreat/crime novel course on Sunday. Can‘t believe it! Been dreaming about this for years! Also decided I stare too much at different screens, so decided to go old school. Sometimes it‘s just all I need - take a break from the internet and let my brain work without distractions 🙂 Really hope my ideas will turn into a book soon! 🕵🏼🦏🐘🐆🦓
Did I like it? Why even ask? Yes, yes I did like it! https://tovereads.wordpress.com/2024/06/18/think-twice-harlan-coben/
After bad news, then more bad news, then worse news to devastating news… it‘s time to get to one of the most anticipated books of the year 🥰
And there it is! 500 reviews! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 I found NetGalley thanks to Litsy! ❤️
Going to a week long crime writing retreat in a month. I have to write a page about my favourite crime book. How am I supposed to choose one? I can‘t even write the pre-assignment 🤯🫣😫😧
“This is a title you‘ve been invited to view” - oh, such beautiful words! I absolutely ❤️❤️❤️❤️ this series!! @Andrew65 and what is she wearing… 🤣
Name an author/authors whose writing blow your mind! For me for example Oscar Wilde, John Boyne, Jeffrey Archer, and William Kent Krueger. Not only a great storyteller, but more talking about the writing style. That je ne sais quoi, you know. 🥰
Took 25 books to this “take one, leave one” book trolley at the mall, and found this one! For once it went this way, but very satisfied 🙂
Published June 6 ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thank you CJ Sansom for the great Shardlake series that I enjoyed very much! So sad to hear that your earthly journey has ended 😢 Rest in Peace
So far this year has been bad in so many ways and the world has gone crazy, and more bad news coming… so time to focus on books!!! Look at some of the books of 2024!!!! And so many more great ones coming. Just finished the latest DK Hood, Angela Marsons, and a new Department Q coming… ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh WOW!!! Book number 4 in the Lewis trilogy (all trilogies seem to be 4 or 5 books nowadays… 🫣). But, tbh this is one of my top three trilogies of all time!!! So, thinking I need to reread. Rarely do it, but seems appropriate now.
Started reading this book and it is oddly drawing me in and I‘m enjoying it. It‘s a bit different. Anyone read it?
🥰🥰🥰🥳🥳
Ooooooih! In August! I absolutely loooove this series! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Book number 20 ❤️
Started reading these two. Decided with @Andrew65 yesterday that we‘d start reading the Thacker book. We also discussed Carson, so I decided to start reading both. Already one third into the Harvey Bennett one. It‘s a fast and engaging read!
Anyone read Nick Thacker‘s books? I‘d like to try one or two, and they seem to be on Kindle Unlimited, but I have no clue where to start. He‘s written quite a lot, yet I‘m not familiar with him 🤷🏼
Woohooo, published today! Been reading it today ❤️ Love this series! Tomorrow Simon McCleave‘s latest will be published, fantastic! 🥰
I have read some ‘‘meh‘ or ‘ok‘ books lately, and got into a slump, but nothing gets me out of the slump like Michael Wood! I ❤️ this book! And tomorrow Sally Rigby‘s new book will be published! 🥰
Who is up for this challenge?????!
I‘m in the market for a new hisfic series. Haven‘t read this one yet. Will give it a go. Let‘s see how we get along 😊
I CANNOT WAIT!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wasn‘t sure I wanted to read this one, but I needed an audiobook today and it was available. Chandler was absolutely my fave character on Friends. It is really hard listening to this book and even though I knew what it would be about… Addiction and abandonment issues 😢
Hah! But… guess what? I have plans on going in two writing courses this summer! Let‘s hope it‘ll all work out! 💖 Is it spring yet???? (It‘s minus a billion degrees here right now 😰)
Yeeeees!! Just got the vidget on NetGalley. I loooove Wood‘s books! ❤️❤️❤️
Always great to read the latest Boyne. Can‘t wait for the next three elements. Boyne tackles the issues in life that hurts us the most, but in a way that you really want to read about them. The short book is so much more than just story. Boyne truly is one of the greatest storytellers ever. ❤️
