Day 8 of #RFABJuly17 is bookish merch!
Candles are my absolute favorite bookish items to buy and I've gone way over board this month! I may have just bought 20 candles from @acourtofcandles the other day. Featured in this photo are my candles from @acourtofcandles and @mugglelibrarycandles and I cannot say enough good things about each of these companies! The scents are amazing and the labels and wax details with glitter and color are on POINT!
Day 7 of #RFABJuly17 is books and chocolate!
.
.
✨This theme was difficult. I typically don't eat chocolate so I found these little caramel kisses in my candy dish and tried to match accordingly. They are one of my favorite kinds of chocolate next to Reese's -- what's your favorite chocolate treat?
Day 6 of #RFABJuly17 is best reads of 2017 so far!
✨My picks for my best reads of 2017 so far are the following:
✨A Court of Thorns and Roses 🌹 , A Court of Mist and Fury 🌬, A Court of Wings and Ruin 🦇 by @therealsjmaas .
✨Lord of Shadows 🔮by @cassieclare1 .
✨Heartless ♥️by Marissa Meyer .
✨Three Dark Crowns 👑by Kendare Blake .
✨Featured here is the amazing starfall candle from @ACourtOfCandles smells amazing and has glitter inside!!
Day 5 of #RFABJuly17 is a book and a candle! Pictured here is my awesome master of Caraval candle from @Mugglelibrarycandles which smells amazing!! This book cover is so gorgeous I couldn't resist taking pictures with it! Head over to my instagram @Rheya_Reads for a this or that as well!! #bookish #bookcandles #bookpics #bibliophile
This book is a 5 star read for me for the general story and potential. It follows 3 triplets, each with magical gifts of their own, who are raised to face one another in a death battle to claim the throne. This book follows their struggles training to hone and grow their power as they prepare to show off their strengths before the ceremonial year they have to kill one another. I'm anxiously awaiting the next book.
Day 4 of #RFABJuly17 Challenge is bookish jewelry!
.
.
✨Featured here is my Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem necklace given to me by my best friend and fellow book nerd @danifree7 😍💙
.
.
✨I realized that I do not have a ton of bookish jewelry so if you have a favorite shop, let me know! I'd love to support some amazing bookish shops!
Day 3 of #RFABjuly17 challenge -- book quotes!
✨"I fell in love the way you fall asleep; slowly, and then all at once." - John Green, The Fault in Our Stars. This is one of my absolute favorite quotes from a book. Especially quotes about falling in love. This book brought me to tears so many times.
✨Paired this book with the GORGEOUS starfall candle I got from @ACourtOfCandles -- the inside is full of beautiful glitter and it smells amazing!
Day 2 of RFAB July Challenge is Naked Hardcover (scandalous! 😱)
I thought I'd use this day to feature some of my gorgeous leather bound collection from Barnes and Noble -- is anyone else a sucker for these gorgeous editions?
Also featured is my Feyre, Darling candle from @acourtofcandles. I love that they have so many candles devoted to Feyre but my heart has a soft spot for this one because I love that Rhys always calls her darling.
Happee Birthdae to the books that stole my heart ❤️ There are not enough words to describe how much joy these books have brought to my life over the last 20 years and I will be forever grateful to @j.krowlingoffical for bringing so much magic to this world.
How fitting that my #gryffindor and #ravenclaw candles from @mugglelibrarycandles came in today! I may be biased but the ravenclaw candle smells AHHHMAZING.
This book dives into the backstory of the Queen of ♥️s in Wonderland and has your ❤️ literally bleeding and broken by the end! Readers find themselves down the rabbit hole into the whimsy of wonderland again, before Alice becomes curioser and curioser. Cath is a woman beyond her time with dreams of marrying for love and owning the best bakery in all of Hearts. Despite her efforts, fate catches up to her and the other members of this magical world.
A climactic end to this trilogy. I found this book to be more intriguing than the first two. Secret histories are revealed, the plot takes an unexpected turn and the ultimate battle finally takes place. I was surprised by how attached I grew to these characters at the end. Worth the read and definitely exceeded my expectations. #ruinandrising
Black and green theme today. I couldn't tag the book but if you're looking for a quick YA read and would like to support a new author Veiled Embers by Jasmine Flowerday is on Amazon and is decently priced! It's her first book so I'm sure she'd love some reviews!
It's #favoritebookfriday so comment below with your favorite book so I can add to my TBR pile! For my bookstagram peeps, I'm doing a #followforfollow as well @Rheya_Reads :)
A great 2nd book in this trilogy. We see our heroine come into her powers and begin taking steps towards ending the Darkling's reign of terror, while also starting to question her motives. We meet some great new characters and learn new things about older ones. Our romance is strained by all the changes and more battles and chaos happen in this book. Interested to see where the final book will take us.

Hello there! New kitten, Kayla over here! #welcomelitten @saguarosally here are my answers!
1. Western New York
2. So many bookstagram friends joined, I had to give it a try! (So glad I did, I'm in love)
3. Me before you -- cry reading it and watching
4. No, sadly. But I do frequently refer to myself as a turtle when I walk down sets of stairs with a backpack on. I always feel like I'll fall and end up on my back. 🐢
What I love about this story is that it shows a girl who's managed to cut herself off from an extraordinary gift and life for the sake of caring more about someone else. Magic, deception, sacrifice and finding yourself amidst isolation -- great read!
✨I'm going to try to incorporate more color and stacks in my posts since it seems red and black are a common color choice amongst my books. What are your favorite color stacks you like to see?!
My first @owlcrate box came in! So excited to un-box this and find not one but two new books!! Next months theme is #Wanderlust so make sure you get yours! #owlcrate #owlcrateunboxing #makeitoutalive
A pleasant read. It was hard to get into because the book is based off of Sailors and that dialect can be difficult. At its core, this is a story about a girl trying to find herself and trusting her own identity when she's split between two very different family styles. There's a fallen emparchy, gods who speak to and guide people on journeys, sword fights and shadowman magic. The cover is so beautiful I couldn't wait to take a picture of it!
The fandom that started it all....
Looking to add some #bookishcandles to my #harrypotter collection: tag your favorite US candle shop below! (I say US because the shipping is always too much for international shops 😔)

5/5 -- the climactic end to the war raging through Prythian. Despite being the third book, characters still developed in exciting and new ways. Lots of battle moments, heart wrenching moments of loss, romantic plot lines and magic fill these pages. Sad to see it end but glad that the author is writing more books about this world from other character points!
5/5 -- this book is honestly better than the first in the trilogy. Just when you think you have the characters figured out, your world is turned upside down! So many twists and turns and even more romance than the first. If you weren't sure you loved the world of Prythian from ACOTAR, I promise this book makes you fall in love!
5/5 - this book is amazing. From the very first page you are whisked away into this magical world and feel the emotions of the characters. I could not read it fast enough! Something for everyone: romance, war, magic, violence, struggle, triumph -- it has it all! Excellent read.
4/5 -- this book definitely surprised me. I wasn't sure I would enjoy it but there's so much mystery and suspense throughout that I couldn't put it down. The ending caught me off guard as well and I'm so anxious for the second book!
3.5/5 - definitely a different writing style than fans of Divergent may be looking for. I honestly can't decide if I liked the book or I wasn't feeling it. I was invested, there's just a lot of difficult names and war/training/dry things that go on that took away from my enjoyment. The love story is great though, definitely doesn't try too hard. Overall it's worth a read as something different and I'm looking forward to the next book.
5/5 -- such a great sequel to Lady Midnight. This series gets a little darker than TMI and TID so I'm really looking forward to the next book. This ends on SUCH a cliff hanger though! Cassandra Clare definitely gives all readers something they can love in this novel and knows how to keep us wanting more!
