I know I reviewed this yesterday but I just had to share this quote from Megan jasper quoting in the book "our economy was really strong, the biggest problem was that our president got a blow job, the world seemed like it was in a decent place".
I spat my drink out laughing. Oh how times have changed! I'd also recommend watching the punk singer after reading this to see why Kathleen hanna left music for a bit. This book was published before.

So this just left me wanting more, the size of this book couldn't do justice to all the different girls in music of the 90s but this was a great short overview. It starts on riot grrrl and keeps the talk about feminism going throughout and I bloody loved it. I've dog eared loads of pages for quotes and listening to sleater Kinney at the same time was great. #booksandvinyl #readwomen #womeninmusic

This picture of the Duchess of Cornwall with her all female protection squad in the UAE this week really made me smile. 3 of these women also conquered Everest last year. I hope that we can all rise up and push back and show Trump what we are made of, even if it not with the grace and beauty of this photo!
