Unintentionally seasonal reading
The first book was *so good*. Moving right on to book two. I can't wait to read what happens next.
Been wanting to read this one for a long time. When I noticed the second book hitting store shelves, I knew it was time.
I really need sleep, but it seems forever away. So wearily onward toward the dark tower we go.
The Dark Tower re-read continues with book six, Song of Susannah.
Moving on in my #TheDarkTower re-read. Book 5 is one of my least favorite. This is definitely going to be the volume where I find out if my depressive rut needs me to read something else instead.

One thing I love about #TheLittleBlueKite is despite all the parts geared toward the youngest readers - there are multiple ways to read it - those of us who love #MarkZDanielewski 's other works have all kinds of things to find and pick apart or just enjoy. Finally on the last book of the trilogy. This story is excellent, but I feel like each book stoutly plods along until it picks up the pace near the end. Not a bad thing, mind you, but good to know so you know if it suits your current reading mood.

Better late than never, The Three-Body Problem has been on my wishlist since before publication. I recently realized how long it's been when my favorite author recommended the entire trilogy. I had to get the 1-year subscription to Gagosian Quarterly when Mark Z. Danielewski announced his new story Love is Not a Flame would be in it in four parts, from Spring 2019 to Winter 2019. All of his stories are connected, but this one is said to connect heavily to The Familiar. I'm excited to finally dig in. And of course I am reading the rest of the quarterly, too.
