Fleetwood Mac on Fleetwood Mac: Interviews and Encounters
Fleetwood Mac on Fleetwood Mac: Interviews and Encounters | Sean Egan
6 posts | 2 read | 12 to read
Fleetwood Mac was a triumph from the beginning their first album was the UK s bestselling album of 1968. After some low points when founder Peter Green left, some fans felt that the band continuing was sacrilege Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined, and their 1977 album, Rumours, became one of history s immortals, a true classic that remained on the charts for years and in the public's affection forever. In the press, the ethereal Californian Stevie Nicks, the tormented rocker Lindsey Buckingham, the dignified English rose Christine McVie, the blunt-speaking John McVie, and the loquacious Mick Fleetwood have all regularly been astoundingly candid. This collection of interviews across the entirety of Fleetwood Mac s career features articles from such celebrated publications asCrawdaddy, New Musical Express, Circus, Creem, Mojo, Goldmine, Classic Rock, Blender, andElle, as well as interviews that have never previously appeared in print. Here is the only place you can learn the Fleetwood Mac story from the band members own mouths."

#Aprella #day23 #Famous There are very few American/English bands more famous than Fleetwood Mac. Think about it for a second. I don‘t care what nationality or age group you belong to, I bet you know at least one Fleetwood Mac song(and I bet even some of the lyrics as well!) Their fame came not just from their incredibly addictive, beautiful songs, but also famously from the extreme dysfunction in the bands personal relationships with each other.

Reviewsbylola I bet they‘re really interesting to read about! 6y
Cinfhen True, they went through some crazzzy breakups! 6y

Another #TBR! I love Stevie Nicks. I've seen Fleetwood Mac in concert as well as Stevie's solo show once or twice. "Landslide" is one of few songs that can bring me to tears.

Stevie has made no secret of the fact that she chose her career over having a family. I think it's helpful to see women making those choices. It makes us childless gals less "other."

Cinfhen I saw Stevie Nicks perform with the girl from Heart and Joan Jett! It was pretty awesome display of #girlpower ☮️💟☮️☯️Those ladies can ROCK 💘💘💘 7y
merelybookish Stevie Nicks is the 💣 7y

This is another #blameitonlitsy purchase! Every one of these books have been talked about in such glowing terms, I was compelled to buy them. Compelled! That's my story, so if my hubby asks, it's all your fault.😉Had to use two different sites because on booktopia.com if you buy The Summer before the War, you get Major Pettigrew for free, but the prices on the others were up to double on some,so bookdepository.com got a visit too. #SmileItsBookmas

Michelle_mck That list is a thing of beauty! 7y

Lizpixie Rumours is one of my favourite albums of all time! Every song on it is a classic, Songbird & Gold Dust Woman are in almost every playlist I've ever made.🤘 7y
Lola Rumours was the first album I bought with my own money. I wanted to be Stevie Nicks as she appeared on that cover :) I saw them a couple of years ago and they are still fab. 7y
Bookworm-Bobbie I got to see them in concert last year. I was so close to the stage it felt like it was the only one at the concert. Loved it! 7y
Susannah Stevie is great. I love how she is so honest about the good stuff and the bad stuff that went on with the band, and how she's still dealing with it all these years later. 7y
LauraBeth I can vividly remember standing in an aisle at the B&N in Hoboken in 1995 and telling someone that I wanted to read a book about Fleetwood Mac by Fleetwood Mac 7y
szainabwilliams Yeah Tusk! 🎶 7y
BookBabe @LauraBeth great memory! 👌🏻 Sadly that bookstore is now closed, if you can believe it. :( 7y
