pickI love Jan Brett's illustrations, which make this book a delightful read. My favorite part is how she uses the main part of the picture to illustrate the text, but has an entire background story occuring in the intricate borders. In this one, a family finds a Christmas tree & decorates it while the main items from the traditional song are illustrated in the foreground. A lovely rendition. #WinterGames #MerryReaders
