We continued with our trip around the Welsh Coastline by visiting Nolton Haven and Broad Haven.

How was Thursday for you? Another intensely long and busy day as the local Mayor said now recommending schools to reopen to a wider group of Pupils from Monday. So intense activity whilst we decide what we are doing. Still will make my own mind up on it whilst I sleep (or not) on it overnight. Statistic showing over last couple of weeks worst figures👇

CocoReads Decent day here, better temps, no storms. Work was hectic in the morning and excruciatingly slow after lunch. Tomorrow we‘re short staffed so I predict a cluster eff. But today was decent. Home getting ready to shower and then...tacos! 4y

CocoReads Our numbers have been decreasing but I think as more stuff opens, the next few weeks will tell the tale (edited) 4y
Andrew65 @CocoReads The tacos sound good, save some for me. 😋 Rained here all day and is still doing so. 😔 4y
kezzlou85 Okay day here. You have to do whats right for your school. Missing the sunshine though. PE isn't as fun indoors though the dog tried to join in. 4y
quietlycuriouskate I miss Pembrokeshire sooooo much! 4y
Andrew65 @kezzlou85 Thanks and I agree, think I know what I will be doing but still want to sleep on it first, 4y
Andrew65 @kathedron It is one of the most beautiful parts of the U.K., I miss drives into Wales and can‘t wait until they let visitors back in. 4y
Velvetfur Those coastlines are gorgeous, thank you Andrew 🙂 I don't like the sound of more pupils going back though, especially while the rate is rising 👎🏻Today I've still been resting my painful legs following an intense workout on Monday when I overdid it (!) and I've been reading and I listed some stuff for sale on ebay 🤞🏻 4y
IamIamIam Lovely beaches!! 😍 I didn't have a ton to do today so I did a puzzle I bought when we began this craziness. I got an email on the museum opening for tours and the logistics are just weird... going to talk it over with my husband, since he'll be home with the kids for the foreseeable future. Not sure how I feel about giving tours with a mask on in 80° weather so that's going to be a determining factor as well. 🤷‍♀️ 4y
Andrew65 @IamIamIam Crazy what we‘re being asked to do. 🤯 4y
Andrew65 @Velvetfur I think it‘s crazy and see no benefit at all in it. Not going to achieve anything in the next few weeks before the Summer with 8 children in a class that need to be two metres away from everybody. 4y
IamIamIam It will be interesting! I can put my volunteer status on hold until I see fit as well, but I don't have the same concerns as our senior volunteers. I might try it out and if I'm not comfortable, I'll put myself on hold for the summer or possibly the year. It could also be that people won't be comfortable coming in for tours either. 4y
TheSpineView It was a good day. Uneventful which is always a good thing. It is beyond me how they think bringing kids back to the classroom is a good idea. I feel for you. 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick These pictures look so peaceful. I'm feeling a bit restless today. At least it was a fairly quiet day with work. Nothing special otherwise. 4y
kezzlou85 @Andrew65 good idea. I hope a good nights sleep if possible helps make your mind up. 4y
gradcat @Andrew65 All I can say, and I run the risk of redundancy here, is what a nightmare for you! I hope you got some sleep...and minus nightmare-sleep at that. ♥️ 4y
Andrew65 @gradcat Funny enough my sleep hasn‘t been hit too much. 4y

Lots of people posting about St. Patrick's day, so here I am posting a public service announcement that it was also St. David's day on 1st March. St. David is the patron saint of Wales. This is our traditional costume. #cymruambyth

Literal LOL at this map 😂😂
Also, I took the train to Holyhead once and didn't realize the train went right by there!

LeahBergen I think I would need an address stamp for anything I mailed if I lived in that town - imagine writing out your return address! 😂 7y
rabbitprincess @LeahBergen Haha! Or maybe they would accept "Llanfair etc." ? 7y
rwmg I believe the standard abbreviation is Llanfair P G 7y
rwmg This youtube video https://youtu.be/fHxO0UdpoxM was circulating a couple of years ago if you were wondering about the pronunciation 7y
rabbitprincess @rwmg I was indeed wondering! Thanks for the link! 7y
