Facebook memories can really be a punch in the gut sometimes! This memory popped up from three years ago. I was preparing food for the holiday. My two helpers were Jessica Kitty Cat and Pepper. I had no idea when I took the picture that it would be my last Christmas with both of them. Jessica was 18 and Pepper was 10. They were both wonderful and added so much joy to our lives. I miss them both so much. ❤️❤️

As the fur mom of two cats, I don't have any dogs. However, I have always loved ALL animals. So, I really enjoyed seeing all of your pictures yesterday for National Dog Day. In fact, I love how animal loving and being a reader seems to go hand in hand, at least on Litsy. Just saying, I'm a sucker for a post with a cute animal on display. The book is just a bonus. #dogsoflitsy
