A group of deck hands come together to hear and tell stories about Luke Skywalker.
I really enjoyed this, I liked the look at how stories can be exaggerated and manipulated for whatever reason. That they can be changed in the retellings.

This is a #MiddleGrade novel where a bunch of kids on their way to Canto Bite hear and tell stories of Luke Skywalker. The first story was the best. It was a rather Mel Brookish retelling. The others were more typical.

I enjoyed this collection of Luke stories as tales of his adventures grow into myths and spread throughout the galaxy...I‘d like to think they all hold at least a kernel of truth. 👍

And 1 more #SeriesRead with @TheSpineView
I definitely feel like we are building to the film‘s conclusion with some of these stories....the final prophesied one that will bring balance to the force, no dark verses light. Anakin didn‘t, and neither did Luke....I so wanted it to be Leia, but I think it has to be Rey now.

About false conspiracy theories about the heroes of the New Republic

Started this one today, funny how they used the film‘s rerelease graphics and fan theories to spin a great conspiracy theory. 😂

It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but the stories were still enjoyable.

My son's Easter Basket included a book I might want to borrow and read later. 😂😂😂
Today's day off read: The Legends of Luke Skywalker
Didn't do anything productive with my 2 vacation days, but I did shit on my butt and read for those 2 days!
@CindyMyLifeIsLit was so sweet to mail me this one last bookmark, which did not make it to her in time to be included in the wonderful #bookmarkswap package she sent. Love this one so much - it will be put to instant use during my buddy read of the tagged book with my 13 year old. :) Thanks, Cindy!!
My next book read a little bit in it... looks good
An enjoyable book of tales about a group of people who have met Luke Skywalker. No major spoilers at all for the current movie
This was actually quite terrible, very disappointing. Some really drab and long-winded stories that just did not relate very well to the larger Star Wars universe. Skip this one.
Finishing this on my lunch break. These stories are the perfect companion to The Last Jedi for many reasons, although I am glad that I finished them after seeing the movie. Here‘s to more of this awesomeness because #starwarsdecember is not over for me yet! #maytheforcebewithyou #wearealllukeskywalker
The Last Jedi was so good. I‘m not sure exactly my feelings quite yet, but I did enjoy the movie. And having the new perspective of having read some of the new books was definitely a game changer for watching the movie.
Really delightful stories. 👍🏻⭐️💫
Foreshadowing for Friday? 🧐🤔🧐
Lunchtime reading - this book is soooooo good! 💙💙💙 #starwarschristmas
This is really a book of short stories about Luke told by a group of people on a transport ship. I loved getting to know Luke through the eyes of others as he traveled around the galaxy learning about the ways of the Force. A great addition to any Star Wars library.
This was a fun look into how people in the Star Wars galaxy view Luke. It was beautifully written. There was just one story that I wasn't super fond of. The others were a great mix of funny, thoughtful, and cool. Just like Star Wars should be.
Leia thinks I'm reading about the wrong Skywalker twin.
