A group of deck hands come together to hear and tell stories about Luke Skywalker.
I really enjoyed this, I liked the look at how stories can be exaggerated and manipulated for whatever reason. That they can be changed in the retellings.

I really enjoyed this and I don't usually like romance books. I think the academic setting made the difference.
It was well written and paced with interesting characters. Yes, it's a bit predictable and tropey but it worked.
Glad I finally got around to finishing this. I've stopped and started it multiple times. I think this was on my #shelfofshame
Bk13 of #Scarathlon & Bk8 of #OutstandingOctober #readathon is done! This book was insane🤡A YA slasher story about a small town in Missouri,a group of its teenagers & a murderous party of clowns. Perfect for October🪓🧨 #WordSearch #TrappedOnAnIsland #BodyCountBingo #PromptMaze #AutumnAtoZ #31x31 #Spookaween #Pointsathon #WickedWords #AutumnBingo #StabbyBingo #NoShameReadathon #OctoberReadathon #BookspinBingo #Thrillathon👇#TeamSlaughter 4,056pts
This had one of the most unlikable main characters I've ever read. She's arrogant, self centered, reckless which teenager I get but not when your entire community is on red alert because of a possible killer.
The plot and pacing weren't great, there was a lot of focus on the ex/new romance and not enough about the killer actively trying to murder them.
I laughed when I saw my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin selections for this month! Both are books that I was supposed to read in prior months, and didn‘t.
Pat of Silver Bush was last month‘s choice for #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead and this month‘s choice, Mistress Pat, builds on that story.
Thanks for the tag @EadieB !
1. So-So. I‘m behind on my GR challenge to read 200 books. I‘m only at 95, so I‘m 6 books behind. I‘m completely slacking on #ShelfofShame, doing good at #pop22 and doing okay at #NoShameReadathon and okay at #Booked2022
2. The #ShelfofShame is to read books I already own. Supposed to read 12, haven‘t read 1 😬. But I have been reading my own books not on that list.

Fashionably late (as is usually the case) to this party… this behemoth has been on my shelves for 6 years!
The Crow Girl was actually published as 3 separate books in Sweden, which helps explain the crazy ups and downs throughout. It‘s very dark (if you have any triggers, avoid it), disturbing, and brutal, though the worst is mercifully left to our imaginations. Twisty with two excellent female MCs (written by 2 men!). Good stuff!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This series has run it's course for me. I didn't enjoy this one as much as others, the mystery was a bit dull and Daisy was very annoying ... More annoying than usual
One of my #shelfofshame books because I swear I've read the first 3 chapters multiple times and then stopped reading
My #BookSpinBingo board for April.
#Bookspin is Daily Rituals. Looks like I will finally clear this one off my #ShelfofShame !
#DoubleSpin is The Four Winds.
Thanks for hosting this, @TheAromaofBooks ! I look forward to playing every month.
Blood Bound is on my #shelfofshame My friend recommended it to me as she loves the series but I get a few chapters in, put it down and forget about it. I'll try to read it and if I don't like it then there is a book swap March 20th
The End of Mr Y I have no idea when I got this book, why I got this book or what it is about ... fun!
I have Beautiful Mystery from February to read as well.
